Indian Army retiree (11 JAK RIF), Col Vaibhav Anil Kale (Retd), who joined the UN Department of Safety & Security (DSS) two months ago died near Rafah, Gaza after coming under an Israeli attack.
Colonel Waibhav Anil Kale (Retd), passed away in Rafah, Gaza, serving as a Security Coordination Officer with the United Nations. Accorded full State & military honours during last rites in Pune in presence of family, friends and relatives.

"All Indian nationals who are traveling for jobs in Cambodia and the Southeast Asian region, are advised that there are many fake agents operating in the region, who along with agents in India, are luring people to scam companies, involved especially in cyber crimes. Anybody who takes up a job in Cambodia should do so only through authorised agents approved by the Ministry of External Affairs of India"

The 2nd edition of India β Australia β Indonesia Trilateral Maritime Security Workshop (TMSW) was conducted from 15 β 17 May 24, at INS Dronacharya, Kochi, India. The Theme of the workshop was βIndian Ocean Region: Collaborative Efforts to Enhance Regional Maritime Securityβ, which was chosen to discuss ongoing maritime security challenges and opportunities for collaboration between the three maritime neighbours in the region. The Workshop was conducted under the aegis of Headquarters Southern Naval Command and witnessed participation of delegates from the three participating Navies.

The 12th Joint Working Group (JWG) meeting between the Defence Ministries of India and Mongolia took place in Ulaanbaatar on May 16-17, 2024. The meeting was co-chaired by Joint Secretary, MoD, India Shri Amitabh Prasad and State Secretary of MoD, Mongolia Brigadier General Gankhuyag Davagdorj. Indiaβs Ambassador to Mongolia Shri Atul Malhari Gotsurve also attended the meeting.
