India has successfully delivered BrahMos supersonic cruise missiles to Philippines.
The missiles were delivered by IAF’s heavy airlifters—the Russian Il-76 & the American C-17 Globemaster.
The two countries had signed a deal worth USD 375 million in 2022. It includes the delivery of three missile batteries, training for operators and maintainers, and the necessary Integrated Logistics Support (ILS) package. A single missile battery usually consists of three mobile autonomous launchers with two or three missile tubes each, along with its tracking systems.

Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) conducted a successful flight-test of Indigenous Technology Cruise Missile (ITCM) from the Integrated Test Range (ITR), Chandipur off the coast of Odisha on April 18, 2024.
During the test, all subsystems performed as per expectation. The missile performance was monitored by several Range Sensors like Radar, Electro Optical Tracking System (EOTS) and Telemetry deployed by ITR at different locations to ensure complete coverage of the flight path. The flight of the missile was also monitored from the Su-30-Mk-I aircraft of the Indian Air Force.
The missile followed the desired path using way point navigation and demonstrated very low altitude sea-skimming flight. This successful flight test has also established the reliable performance of the indigenous propulsion system developed by Gas Turbine Research Establishment (GTRE), Bengaluru.

In a joint operation, launched by the 39 RR of 6 Sector, Romeo Force with JKP and SOG Poonch in Hari Budha, a registered Over-Ground Worker (OGW) named Qamaruddin who is the headmaster in school is caught with a foreign-made pistol and grenades in his house. The consignment recovered is suspected to be used to disturb the upcoming election in the Poonch area. The search is still in progress. Two Chinese grenades and one Pakistan-made pistol were recovered from the OGW.
