EU's Borrell fears conflict escalation in the Donbass in coming days
Josep Borrell, the EU High Representative of the European Union for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy, told journalists that the Russian army is allegedly massing "in the East to launch an attack on the Donbass.β Borrell made the remarks ahead of the EU foreign ministersβ meeting in Luxembourg on Monday.

Several people injured in NYC subway shooting
Several people were shot during rush hour in a subway station in Brooklyn, New York City on Tuesday, according to the New York Police Department.
Suspicious devices were also reportedly found at the scene. Emergency services rushed to the area after the attack.
The suspect was reportedly dressed in an orange construction vest and wore a gas mask. No arrests have been made so far.

Russia to resume lunar programme despite sanctions - Putin
Russian President Vladimir Putin announced a resumption of the state lunar programme during a Cosmonautics Day celebration ceremony at the Vostochny Cosmodrome, in the Far Eastern Amur region.
"We will resume the lunar programme. I refer to launching from the Vostochny cosmodrome the unmanned spacecraft of the Luna-25 robotic space complex."
Besides launching the Luna-25 probe, Russia will complete manufacturing of its new generation transport ship and continue working on the "nuclear space energy technologies".
"We certainly have very good and very clear advantages", Putin stressed.
