India-Oman joint military exercise AL NAJAH V 2024 currently underway at Rabkoot Trg Area, Oman.
Troops of Indian Army and Oman train together to further enhance interoperability and synergy between forces of both the Nations in the 5th edition of the Exercise Al Najah 2024, being held at Rabkoot Training Area, Salalah, Oman.
Indian Armed Forces successfully conducted a critical medical evacuation of Havildar Suresh R from United Nations Disengagement Observer Force at Golan Heights, Israel.
He suffered grievous injuries in the line of duty and was transferred to an UN hospital in Israel. However, as his situation required further treatment, it was decided to evacuate him to India.
A team of Army Medical Corps in close collaboration with IAF, IDS & DMA, in a highly coordinated mission, not only ensured that the injured soldier was evacuated amidst an extremely uncertain situation, but also provided state of the art critical care support en- route to the patient.
