IAF contingent arrived in Kuantan, Malaysia for bilateral Exercise Udara Shakti 2024. With focus on strengthening ties, sharing maintenance practices and improving operational coordination between the two Air Forces, IAF Su-30 MKIs will fly alongside RMAF Su-30 MKMs.

Indian Navy's submarine INS Shalki, is in Colombo, Sri Lanka on a two day visit. The submarine was accorded a ceremonial reception by the Sri Lanka Navy on 02 August 2024. During the visit, the Commanding Officer is scheduled to call on the Commander of the Western Naval Area Rear Admiral WDCU Kumarasinghe, followed by visit and briefing of Sri Lanka Navy personnel onboard. Personnel from High Commission of India in Sri Lanka and Sri Lanka Defence Forces are also scheduled to visit the submarine. INS Shalki is a Shishumar class diesel-electric submarine, commissioned into the Indian Navy on 07 February 1992. This is the first ever submarine to be built in India.

Commander of the German Air Force Lt Gen Ingo Gerhartz expresses gratitude on behalf of Germany, France, Spain and UK. He expressed readiness for a meaningful and impactful exercise.

The skies over Sulur witnessed the launch of Exercise Tarang Shakti 24. Air Marshal Amar Preet Singh VCAS of IAF welcomes German Air Force Cmdr Lt Gen Ingo Gerhartz and French, Spanish fighter jets in a spectacular aerial rendezvous, kicking off Phase-l.
