I'd like to just take a moment to tell you some things.

So I get admiration, fan letters, poems, praise and so much from friends and family. It is normal and loving.

BUT if any of this comes from a place of thinking "Oh Dagm is a good Christian", "Dagm is a great coder", "Dagm has connections", or just things like this please don't even start.

Pick anything you think I'm good at, I'll show u someone close to me that's better than me.

Not to mention, behind this channel, in the darkness of my days, I've been so horrible and sinful. Those that knew are deeply disappointed in me, some won't even forgive me for it. I am that messed up.

But the point is that only the MERCY AND LOVE OF GOD is what provides good things in my life. That is it. I didn't earn it, I didn't work so hard for it, I didn't beat all the competition, I didn't have anything unique. I am just a sinful person.

What differentiates me, what makes me feel at peace and restful, have good news in life is that God chose to do these things for me, simply out of His mercy and love.

So let this be a lesson, you aren't anyone incredible, none of us are, what you think you're so good at, I can show you someone miles ahead, so trust in God let Him be what differentiates you.

ኢሳይያስ 30:16

"ደግሞም ‘አይሆንም፣ በፈረስ እንሸሻለን’ አላችሁ፤ ስለዚህ ትሸሻላችሁ። ደግሞም፣ ‘በፈጣን ፈረስ እናመልጣለን’ አላችሁ፤ ስለዚህ አሳዳጆቻችሁም ፈጣን ይሆናሉ።"

These people thought they can escape others because they have horses, but God told them the enemy has horses too.

Then they said we got faster horses, then God pointed out the enemy has faster horses too.

You can't escape because you're any different, what you have on your side that the enemy doesn't is God.

"እግዚአብሔር እንደ ኀያል ሰው ይዘምታል፤ እንደ ተዋጊ በወኔ ይነሣል፤ የቀረርቶ ጩኸት ያሰማል፤ ጠላቶቹንም ድል ያደርጋል።"
— ኢሳይያስ 42:13

መዝሙር 61:2

"ልቤ በዛለ ጊዜ፣ ከምድር ዳርቻ ወደ አንተ እጣራለሁ፤ ከእኔ ይልቅ ከፍ ወዳለው ዐለት ምራኝ።"
