Dagm, I don't need God to be good at tech, or to make money, nor to achieve my goals, or even be famous. Plus as you can see I'm getting the following, people look up to me, I'm building projects and so forth.

Yup you don't need God for worldly success. You can do it.

You forgot that God is so good even to those that don't like Him, nor believe in Him and most of all to those who're so bad to Him.

"እንደዚህም በማድረጋችሁ በሰማይ ላለው አባታችሁ ልጆች ትሆናላችሁ፤ እርሱ ፀሓዩን ለክፉዎችና ለደጎች ያወጣል፤ ዝናቡንም ለኀጢአተኞችና ለጻድቃን ያዘንባል።"

Remember tho all of this is meaningless. You will have stuff but none of them valuable to you, you will have people but soon to collapse, you will have knowledge that you'd hate having, you'll also look back and regret the days you've spent away from God.

Better to get Him as soon as possible.

To be with God so you'd in return gain skill, wealth, fame, protection, stuff or even health is not the perfect way to approach it.

Merit based relationships usually suck. Merits should be perks and bonuses you get not the main aim of the relationship.

Same with God. You should pursue Him for Him, and consider the other things as perks and bonuses.
