You have to understand how deeply you are loved, it is what will open your eyes to the extent to which God is willing to forgive and restore you.

You were known before the creation of the universe, then chosen before you existed. You were formed in your mother's womb by His hands.

You may ascend to the heavens or you might descend to the pits of hell and He is there.

He has watched over you like you're the only human He has ever created and built an unbreakable wall surrounding you.

You've been given things before you even prayed about them.

You are His beloved.

You have been born from your father Grace and your mother Mercy. And you as a Christian will be raised up through them.

"ሕግ በመምጣቱ መተላለፍ በዛ፤ ነገር ግን ኀጢአት በበዛበት ጸጋ አብልጦ የተትረፈረፈ ሆነ፤

ይህም የሆነው ኀጢአት በሞት እንደ ነገሠ ሁሉ፣ በኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ በኩል ደግሞ የዘላለም ሕይወት ይገኝ ዘንድ ጸጋ በጽድቅ እንዲነግሥ ነው።"

😅 my favorite thing to do at these kinds of events is when I find someone that doesn't know me, I spun up a completely new identity, new names and background and just enjoy being this random person with another random person.

Did this like at the last three tech events I've been to, and it's been a blast really 😅

Paul went to the Galatians and preached to them how it's their faith in Christ that saves them and not their works.

After He left, other people infiltrated and taught them that it's not only faith that saves but works also. They even went to the extent of telling them that they should get circumcised to be holy again.

Then Paul heard this and wrote this back:
"በክርስቶስ ጸጋ የጠራችሁን እርሱን ትታችሁ፣ ወደ ተለየ ወንጌል እንዲህ ፈጥናችሁ መዞራችሁ ደንቆኛል፤

እንደ እውነቱ ከሆነ ሌላ ወንጌል የለም። የሚያደነጋግሯችሁና የክርስቶስን ወንጌል ለማጣመም ጥረት የሚያደርጉ አንዳንድ ሰዎች አሉ።

ነገር ግን እኛም ብንሆን ወይም የሰማይ መልአክ፣ ከሰበክንላችሁ ወንጌል የተለየ ወንጌል ቢሰብክላችሁ እርሱ ለዘላለም የተረገመ ይሁን።

ቀደም ብለን እንዳልነው፣ አሁንም ደግሜ እላለሁ፤ ማንም ከተቀበላችሁት ሌላ የተለየ ወንጌል ቢሰብክላችሁ የተረገመ ይሁን።"

"የእግዚአብሔርን ጸጋ አላቃልልም፤ ጽድቅ በሕግ በኩል የሚገኝ ከሆነማ፣ ክርስቶስ እንዲያው በከንቱ ሞተ ማለት ነዋ!"

"እናንተ የማታስተውሉ የገላትያ ሰዎች ሆይ! ለመሆኑ ማን መተት አደረገባችሁ? ኢየሱስ ክርስቶስ እንደ ተሰቀለ ሆኖ በፊት ለፊታችሁ በግልጽ ተሥሎ ነበር።

ከእናንተ ዘንድ አንድ ነገር ብቻ ማወቅ እፈልጋለሁ፤ መንፈስን የተቀበላችሁት ሕግን በመጠበቅ ነው ወይስ የተሰበከላችሁን በማመን?

ይህን ያህል የማታስተውሉ ናችሁን? በመንፈስ ጀምራችሁ በሥጋ ፍጹም ለመሆን ትጥራላችሁን?"

People will literally read and study the book of Galatians and also all these verses and still try to perform to God and worst of all tell others to perform like them.

"ሕግን በመጠበቅ የሚተማመኑ ሁሉ ከርግማን በታች ናቸው፤ “በሕግ መጻሕፍት የተጻፈውን ሁሉ የማያደርግ የተረገመ ነው” ተብሎ ተጽፏልና።"

"ታዲያ ሕግ የተሰጠበት ምክንያት ምንድን ነው?

ሕግ የተጨመረው ከመተላለፍ የተነሣ ተስፋው ያመለከተው ዘር (ኢየሱስ) እስኪመጣ ድረስ ነበር"

"ስለዚህ በእምነት እንጸድቅ ዘንድ ሕግ ወደ ክርስቶስ የሚያደርሰን ሞግዚታችን ሆነ። አሁን ግን ያ እምነት ስለ መጣ፣ ከእንግዲህ በሕግ ሞግዚትነት ሥር አይደለንም።"

"እነዚያ ሰዎች ወደ ራሳቸው ሊወስዷችሁ ይተጋሉ፤ ለበጎ ግን አይደለም፤ የሚፈልጉት እናንተን ከእኛ ነጥለው የራሳቸው ሊያደርጓችሁ ነው።"

"እንዴት ባሉ ታላላቅ ፊደላት በእጄ እንደ ጻፍሁላችሁ ተመልከቱ።

ውጫዊ በሆነ ነገር ለመታየት የሚፈልጉ ሰዎች ትገረዙ ዘንድ ሊያስገድዷችሁ ይጥራሉ፤ ይህንም የሚያደርጉት ስለ ክርስቶስ መስቀል እንዳይሰደዱ ነው።

እነርሱ በሥጋችሁ ለመመካት ሲሉ እንድትገረዙ ፈለጉ እንጂ፣ የተገረዙት ራሳቸው እንኳ ሕግን የሚጠብቁ አይደሉም።"

People who complain about grace are people who don't trust God for their salvation.

"Dear Lord, because I don't trust that you will simply see my faith in Your Son at the day of Judgement and let me enter heaven; I will spend my time on Earth trying to do so much work so when you judge me I can point to my works and show you that I am atleast worthy of your mercy."

But the Bible says...
"ከእግዚአብሔር የሚመጣውን ጽድቅ ስላላወቁና የራሳቸውን ጽድቅ ለመመሥረት ስለ ፈለጉ፣ ለእግዚአብሔር ጽድቅ አልተገዙም።"
-- ሮሜ 10:3

People who don't trust in the Grace of God, live in fear. They'd much rather be slaves of God, than the Children He wants them to be.

"እስቲ አብርሃምን አስቡ፤ “እርሱ እግዚአብሔርን አመነ፤ ጽድቅም ሆኖ ተቈጠረለት።”"
-- ገላትያ 3:6

"“ጻድቅ በእምነት ይኖራል” ስለ ተባለ፣ ማንም በእግዚአብሔር ፊት በሕግ እንደማይጸድቅ ግልጽ ነው።"
-- ገላትያ 3:11

Any genuine Christian will understand that the freedom Christ gives believers over the law isn't meant for freedom of Sin.

If Christ died for sinners, for them to sin further doesn't make any sense at all.

Christ died so we can be free of Sin, and we might live a holy life empowered by His Holy Spirit.

"ክርስቶስ ነጻ ያወጣን በነጻነት እንድንኖር ነው። ስለዚህ ጸንታችሁ ቁሙ፤ ዳግመኛም በባርነት ቀንበር አትጠመዱ።"
-- ገላትያ 5:1

እምነት ያለ ስራ፣ ስራ ያለ እምነት ዋጋ የለሽ ናቸው!

It's the transformation of the heart through the faith in Christ that produces work that is meaningful and acceptable by God.

For a believer, the work you do is a work of Love and Faith. You do it not to be saved, but because you are.

Your work shows you the status of your faith. And your faith guides the status of your work.

Work and Faith are inseparable, and are interdependent.

"አንተ ከንቱ ሰው! እምነት ያለ ሥራ ዋጋ የሌለው መሆኑን ለማወቅ ማስረጃ ትፈልጋለህን?"
-- ያዕቆብ 2:20

A true faith in Christ is transformative.

You are broken in Sin Infront of God, and entirely depend on His Grace to save you.

After that any work you do is powered through the Love and Grace God provides to you.

"I will keep away from Sin, not to make you love me Lord, but because you already do and I want to love you back."
