Obviously can't share more screenshots but these guys did so good. I love the monochrome but most of all the UI is sooo slick and actually up to date and useful. Ethiopians are definitely going to love it, specially Amharic speakers.

Every once in a few months, a few of my YouTube team members advise me to optimize my content for clickbait and ADHD.
We can turn the thumbnails and titles to be so clockbaity, we can start our episodes by a small recap to steal your attention, our shorts could be so fast paced and keep u endlessly scrolling, and as most Ethiopians like it - we can focus on the negative sides, by raising and interviewing pessimistic people and issues.
BUT, no. It goes so against what I believe in. I personally am so picky with the videos I watch. So while being so careful for myself, but exposing you to that kind of content is such hypocrisy.
Our content will remain healthy, our shorts normal paced, our thumbnail lovely to look at. Your attention and time is so valuable that we aren't trying to steal it, you have to actively choose to watch each episode instead of being manipulated to do so.
Does that come at a price for me? Yes, I'll lose money on it. But I like saying I have a very healthy content recommendable for anyone. And God is on my side so I know He'll support.

Today I'll tell you how my break in April went. I'll dive into some new habits I started, some tools I've been using and insights overall.

El-mom: The spam channel
Another point I'll take from Babi, bugging off.
First things first tho, you seriously gotta take an intentional time off.
That isn't to say you stop working or go completely off grid. It is to mean that all things get lowered to their basic minimum requirements and nothing more.
You don't need to be online other than for that specific task of work, you don't need to be on your computer unless it's important, you don't have to build a project unless deadlines require you to, you don't have to consume lots of sugar, you don't have to sit for a long time at all and so forth.
That's it. It's not scary.
