Guillermo Rauch — Upbringings, Education, Career, NextJS, Vercel, V0, Advises and More • youtube.com/watch?v=aKNUJxioIRU I had so much fun talking to RauchG, he's very chill and subtly smart in his words. Also this's the first episode where my editor changed…
Rauch was in a rental with his mate when a fire broke out and if they somehow hadn't woken up they'd have been burnt in their home along with all their stuff.

That made him realize there's more to life than what meets the eye.
Thank you everyone on telegram, on twitter, on linkedin and on twitter for the amazing support. Betam crazy reception and means alot ❤️

It was quiet overwhelming for me that I had to just shut my phone and chill. So thanks.
Keeping secrets is the quickest way to get old.
One thing I've realized while at campus, or working with government projects or even with other creators is that there's a hierarchy of being informed.

Everywhere in the world people who are closer to the source of information have usually gotten really big benefits out of it.

Let me start with something simpler. Back in campus, for example, I used to get informed about a ton of information from teachers but most importantly from department heads and staff.

I've befriended them so they'd dump on me files or tell me information way ahead of time. I knew stuff even most teachers, actual staff, didn't know. Ofcourse I value people's trust so I don't disclose anything. But knowing the behaviors and motives of some other students, I know for sure how biased, unfairly or differently they'd act knowing things. And once in a blue moon some people get informed and well as you'd expect they'd leverage that to place themselves above others.

Moving on from that, at work, infact different places, governmental or startups. I'd be aware of things that if competitors knew they'd just stop working or entirely pivot or even normal people would make different financial decisions and stuff.

As you can feel from my tone, I really can't talk details, I just want you to understand the concepts at play. These things really did make me realize that most people aren't aware of anything. Even with so much information and news available so much important information isn't disclosed.

I'm just a random person, who's somehow gotten the opportunity to know a tiny portion of things. I can only imagine what world leaders, people with access to surveillance or people close to dense information know that all of us don't. When people in power or extremely powerful individuals make certain decisions or even act like what is sporadic and insane. Always keep in mind there's more you don't know than what you do.
It is good to be as close as possible to primary sources of information. But going hand in hand with that is you have to learn to keep secrets. Secret keeping can get pretty unhealthy but it's something you have to learn to do if you're getting unusually pricey information.

Another thing is to trade. If you're just a sponge of secrets. That's just meaningless. You've got to trade something in return. You just have to be wise and safe in doing so.

Enough thoughts for today.
Remember tho, God is the highest source of primary information, so no one's as powerful as a person who is extremely connected to God.

Thing about God tho is that sometimes He might not disclose every detail and rightfully so. Cause you're a very messed up person and He knows what you're capable of if you knew everything in detail.

So He asks you to lean on His understanding and judgement and trust that even if you're not aware as much as the world leaders or any other powerful figure, you'd still be kept safe and even sometimes so much more safer and at peace than those in power.

You can forward any long text from another app to it and it will automatically summarize for you. Optionally you can turn the summarize mode on and just copy paste to it and it will do the same thing. #MyProjects #NativeChat @Dagmawi_Babi

Next big update to NativeChat is function calling.

Before this update you had to specifically toggle a button so the AI is aware of the context (like messages, calls...) but now you can have a natural conversation and the AI will call the appropriate function and get the context it needs to respond to you.

I've also added function calling to clear the conversation. Another one is that I've removed the context toggles. Also now the input box can extend vertically if your prompt is longer.

Also hope you like the progress indicators :)

I don't use state management packages in my flutter apps. I use setState all the time. 👀

I thought I had skill issues but even google experts like Tadas do the same thing and we think the same about state management packages. A relief. I can come out now lol

Well this's lovely. I'm clearly seeing AI girlfriends happening soon.

Also isn't it crazy that the world expected Sam to build a sexual version of ChatGPT and called him a degenerate even tho he actually didn't do it.

But Elon did it and everyone's enjoying it. Biased much? Lol
