Did you know that most pro-abortion studies only study around 120-1200 women? While the actual number of people who abort every month is near 100,000 on average?

So even the "smart" people and doctors citing scientific researches are wildly inaccurate.

One of the most popular and most cited research on abortion and women's mental health is the Turnaway study.

Any "smart" pro-abortion person's views somehow base on this study. That found out that women are okay after this procedure.

Guess how many people they studied?
• 1,000 women.

Out of 100,000!!! Out of millions!!

[ Please don't argue with me, I'm not gonna try to convince u. The most I'll do is respond w a resource. This's a topic you have to make your own mind on. ]

What's also crazy is that "medically necessary" abortions account for 1.4% of all abortions while rape and incest account for less than 0.5%

That is a total of 1.9% of abortions. So 98% of the people who argue for abortion basing these cases clearly don't see the full picture.

And it's sad. I see men not caring about these topics, but women should really really do their own studies. Forget debating with me, or other people. Just study it for urself and make up ur mind.

But let me make the Christian case against abortion of any kind.

The Bible says that God knew each and every person before the creation of the universe. And most important He formed them in womb's of the mother. To abort the baby is to take that creation of God away from Him.

There's one famous, but sick argument, that people raise and it's that if the mother isn't economicaly stable or mentally stable, if she's not ready to have and raise the child, and most of all if the kid is born and spend their childhood in a poor condition then that baby should be terminated before given the chance.

But who are you to certainly say that that kid's life is going to be bad throughout their life? Just because a person is going to enter a really bad environment doesn't mean we take their life away to spare them of the pain.

As a Christian this's instantly unacceptable mostly because the story of our redemption lies in giving us another chance at life instead of taking the one we've been born into.

One of my favorite verses in the bible is this:
"እግዚአብሔርም እንዲህ ሲል ይመልሳል፦ “እናት የምታጠባውን ልጅዋን ልትረሳ ትችላለችን? ወይስ ለወለደችው ልጅ አትራራምን? እርስዋ እንኳ ብትረሳ እኔ ግን እናንተን አልረሳም።" (ኢሳ 49:15)

A mother can be ruthless. We've seen mothers have multiple abortions and frame the fetuse, we've seen mothers murder their kids, we've seen horrific things... But God say, tho a mother can be evil. I am not. You are my responsibility to take care, raise and love.

So a Christian who believes in a God who can provide and raise people up from the dust, can't really support the termination of babies.

Let's take this a bit deeper. And I'm going to need u to open ur hearts for me for this:

Motherhood is a behavior of God that he gives to women. Most women aren't motherly unless God shares that with them which often time He does.

What's crazy is that people who spend more time with God share more of His characters and so mothers who are firm believes are even more motherly than women who don't.

So consider this: a woman as a mother is representing God's maternity. To show the world that God is even more nurturing, forgiving, caring and loving as a mother.

So to think that your motherhood is just a random characteristic that u can do whatever with, based on your own needs is very selfish and completely ill.

It could be young woman, or an older one. Whomever it is God provides the assistance to raise that child up. He only needs our surrender. And if you look around some of the people you love were once a topic of abortion. They were unwanted clumps of cells to be removed to avoid inconveniences. But turns out these clumps of cells can be something so beautiful to love and care for.

Anyways that's something to think about.

Here's one last thing:

We, Ethiopians, undeveloped and poor, thought that HIV was such a horrific thing that we should do all that we can to avoid it, protect ourselves from it and care for those who already have it.

So we put countless efforts into educating people, providing millions of dollars worth of medicine, care, protection, and more to take good control over it.

If we as a collective think that Abortion is very wrong and harmful and didn't consider it as a solution imagine the amount of progress we would've made to protect the unborn and care for the mother.

If a few more of us stand firm in believing that it's wrong, which it is, then we increase the pace at which we care for mothers and children.

Often times when I raise this topic the comment section explodes before I can manage it. And that's fine but I want you to really open hearted-ly consider this.

I may offend you. But I won't lie to u. What I post here. Specially on sensitive topics aren't a late afternoon thought, or some engagement farming. It's something I took my time with researching, thinking and talking to different people about.

I too believed abortion was okay for a really long time. And after being a Christian I also believed some cases were fine. But I was wrong and I made sure I was completely wrong on my past beliefs before I come here and fill ur precious minds with ideas.

So do take it with good intentions. It's purely out of the intention of telling u the truth among all the noise in the world. Enji it would've been so easy to be pro-abortion, gain the popular belief and most people's engagement and admiration.

Water into wine.
Tasteless to delicious.
Numbness to ecstacy.
Cheap to expensive.
Transparent to colorful.
Ordinary to rare.
Common to desirable.

That is what God is good at doing!
