Power has been cycled on and off by the State of Texas the past two days. President Biden declared an emergency on Monday. These rolling outages are going to continue the next couple of days to provide enough power to provide enough heat to all of the homes.

We are sending out this announcement to update you on the revised release schedule due to the inclement weather and power issues in Texas this past week. We will be releasing the cross-chain exchange functionality by next weekend. We will continue to provide updates as the week progresses.

Since our last update, we have implemented several bug fixes, product improvements, and introduced support for sending and receiving Bitcoin. Today, we have deployed cross-chain exchanging support for BTC, ETH, and COIN using atomic swap technology to mainnet. Again, all from the same wallet, while remaining decentralized and assets solely under user-custody.


While publishing the functionality to mainnet, we began to experience 404 and 503 errors. We expect to resolve these issues soon and release a bit later today.


Along with the release later today will be a formal announcement inclusive of instructions for exchanges and the new time line for release of the remaining functionalities, as well as some other updates of a positive nature.
We're sorry for this unexpected delay, but we will not release a product that is throwing errors, even if they are only intermittent.

Hello Coinvestors!

We wanted to update everyone today about the status of $COIN staking. The team has thoroughly investigated community feedback, reported issues, and tested the $COIN staking functions. Through this course we have made fixes and improvements on V1 in addition to preparing for V2 of the Coin Wallet. For those who helped with this testing process, we are incredibly grateful for your support and willingness to help us grow Coin to become the project that can truly take on the big players in this market.

We are excited to announce that starting April 11th we will have full funds available in the staking contract, which means the rewards will be accurately reflected in the Dapp. As previously mentioned, we have removed locking from the program due to concerns from our community around confusion and complexity. For those who did help with the locked stake testing, we will still be transferring bonus $COIN to you for your efforts. Please do keep in mind you will need to unlock your $COIN after the 30 days is up (which does incur gas fees).

Please know that in our findings, staking is fully functional, the smart contract and Dapp are working as designed, and rewards balances are updated every 30 days. To reflect the change in locking we have also updated our calculator, which should help you in calculating rewards starting April 11th. We are very excited for the future of $COIN, and have many more exciting updates for you coming soon!

For the past few weeks we have been conducting a private beta test of our V2 platform. We have spent this week heavily involved in switching our V2 build over to MainNet. We spent the week testing and are excited to say we are almost ready to push this build to our preliminary private testers, (and it looks GREAT!). We’ve decided to move our stealth MainNet release (aka Soft Launch) to next week as we are now including fees in this release.

We have made this decision in the interest of beginning to incur revenue so we can start our $COIN buyback process to replenish the staking reserve for reward distributions to all stakers. As fees involve user funds, we require some additional testing to ensure that it is accurate, no loss of funds, etc.

Please keep an eye on this weekend for the release notes for V2 and our short-term roadmap!
