It feels like all that’s ever being made in our bakery these days is our Mango Forest Cake! 😄 People seem to be IN LOVE with it.

This happens every year when we come out with it during the mango season. Order yours while mangoes are still around.

It’s vegan of course, can be made gluten free upon request.

WhatsApp or Telegram +91 9632041340 or call 080 41172812.
Another seasonal special just for you! 😊
Yay! The menu expanded once again! 😃💃🏻👏🏽

We’ve been listening to you, so a whole bunch of your favourites are now available for ordering.

We’re not open for dine in yet. Send a WhatsApp or Telegram message to +91 9632041340 or call 80 41172812 to place your orders for Takeaways or Home Delivery.
A message from our hearts.⠀

COVID-19 has tormented and devastated a lot of lives, and many more livelihoods. Carrots is not an exception.⠀

In the past couple of months, we’ve managed to do takeaways and deliveries with a lot of care and sensitivity, and have even steadily expanded our delivery menu based on your requests.⠀

So many of you have come forward and placed orders, helping us get some much needed revenue to carry on during this difficult period.⠀

Unfortunately, the food business is a tough one to run during the best of times, and the impact due to the lockdown has been much higher than we had imagined.⠀

We‘ve been steadily working on scaling down our operations. Now we’ve reached a point where we’re looking at significant staff reduction.⠀

‼️What looms ahead is a temporary or even permanent closure. All the 7 years of our hard work is under threat!‼️

We have strived hard to differentiate Carrots from any other for-profit business, and it has truly become much more than that. It has been a learning center towards a cruelty free and sustainable way of living and given back through numerous educational videos and demo sessions in English and Kannada, fed the hungry and underprivileged, supported and helped grow activism and the number of activists, educated large hotels and culinary schools, been a safe space and a community center for people who care about various social issues, and a place where employees are treated with great respect and love.⠀

We have poured a lot of ourselves into our beloved Carrots, and we know that over the years many of you also have felt the same – Carrots belongs to all of us together.⠀

🌟So, today we decided to keep all the fear and negativitiy aside and spend the next couple of weeks in a positive way. Consider Carrots as your own home, and the Carrots team as your family members.🌟

Be with us during this difficult time and order your favourite dishes while we are still around. If we generate enough funds to sustain, that's great. Else, we will go down with a smile, thanking you all for all the love and support you have provided to us over all these years.⠀

♥️ With love,⠀⠀
Team Carrots
Last week, we put out a message about how we‘re facing temporary or permanent closure due to COVID-19.⠀

At that point, we hadn’t hoped to continue beyond June. We were looking for storage facilities to move stuff into, booked tickets to send most of our staff home and in talks with our landlord to vacate at short notice.⠀

Then we thought, we can’t close without letting you, our Carrots Tribe, know.⠀

When we put out the call to action, we knew a bunch of our regulars, people who’ve supported us through the lockdown, would want to place more orders to help us.⠀

But we hadn’t expected what we actually got. ⠀

♥️The moment the post went live, we were flooded with messages! The sentiments ranged from sadness to encouragement to outright obstinate love that you would not let Carrots go away so easily!⠀

You made sure that our post went viral. You asked friends and family, vegans and non-vegans alike, to support us.🌟

All that you’ve done, it’s working, you lovely people! We’ve had more orders in the past 6 days than we had before in June. We’ve even had enquiries and orders from new people.⠀

🙏🏽If there’ve been any delays in responding to your messages, please bear with us. Know that it was only because our team is working overtime, overwhelmed with questions, and cooking up yummies!⠀

We were prepared for a wave of love, but you all sent us a tsunami instead! 😂

Also, here’s the magic of your positive vibes - our landlord has said we can stay on at a lower rent for a while.⠀

We have a long way to go before we’re able to cover the losses incurred and pay the bills piled up over the past 3 months. However, your support has helped buy some time and more importantly, filled our hearts with hope.⠀

‼️We need to keep this momentum going. We can sustain through this period (likely to last a long while) only by constantly generating revenue. Whenever you order from us or tell people about us, it makes a difference!‼️

You’ve shown us the true power of community, and no matter what happens, we will always always remember this.⠀

With much love and gratitude,⠀
The Carrots Team.😊🙏🏽♥️
Let’s Fight Hunger

Campaign Story - Health Save Movement India is working on several food justice projects to feed the poor and uplift ethical vegan restaurants.

🌟 We are feeding currently several thousands of families in the Koramangala slum in association with Swabhiman NGO. Our vision is to feed these marginalized communities healthy plant based foods to boost their immunity by providing nutritious and disease fighting meals.🌟

We also support vegan businesses by giving them guaranteed business during the trying times of the pandemic.

A portion of the funds we raise during this campaign will go to Carrots Restaurant so they can prepare healthy vegan food in large quantities, and the rest will be used effectively by Health Save Movement India, to ensure that this food reaches the people who need it during this crisis.

With Bakra Eid coming up this weekend, we wanted to get ahead of the game and start offering our Vegan Biriyani and Raita right away!

It’s made of basmati rice, loaded with seitan (mock meat), vegetables and spices. All layered and slow cooked to drool-worthy perfection.

We’re making the Biriyani in small batches everyday from Tuesday, 28th July to Saturday, 1st August.

Send a WhatsApp/Telegram message to +91 9632041340 to place your orders. For takeaway and home delivery only.

Send some to friends and family too. Let’s show the world that cruelty-free Biriyani that’s made with only love, can be just as tasty as the commonly available variety.

We’ve even had people tell us that they find our Biriyani more delicious than the non vegan kind. 😊

We’re also making Vegan Biriyani for underprivileged families in the days surrounding the festival. Health Save Movement India will be organising the distribution and all other logistics.
