Laughter is an essential part of healthy and happy living. Humans need about fifteen sustained minutes of laughter a day to live their best, healthiest life.

Laughter Yoga uses self-generated, non-judgmental laughter and eye contact to flow through exercises designed to
🌟 stimulate breath-work
🌟 increase the heart rate
🌟 foster a sense of connection between all participants.

There is not much Asana involved, we will mostly practice laughter through silliness exercises that play out like childhood games.

Laughter can alleviate symptoms of anxiety, depression, high or low blood pressure, asthma, and many more common physical ailments.

Laughter is a powerful breath-work that stimulates the vagus nerve running along the front center channel of the body. This opens the diaphragm, increasing breathing capabilities and pumps oxygenated blood throughout the body.

The only contraindication for laughter is an active hernia in the body. Please do not bust a gut.

Michael Murphy is a Certified Laughter Yoga Teacher, accredited by the Laughter Yoga University in Bangalore India, created by Cardiologist, Dr. Madan Kataria.
Mini Vegan Pop-Up Market at Carrots!

It’s a well known fact that Carrots is more than just a restaurant. Among other things, we’re a vegan community space too.

There’s a famous quote that goes,
"if you want to go fast, go alone,
if you want to go far, go together".

This is an ideology we deeply resonate with!

Whenever a new vegan business sprouts up in town, our enthusiasm goes up too. 😊

So as part of our anniversary celebrations, we thought we could host a Mini Vegan Pop-Up Market at our space!

Date: Saturday, 8th February 2020
Time: 4 pm to 7 pm

The market will host:
Jus’Amazin
ViaZeme
Sattva Fermentary
The Goodness Factory
Mountain Bee Kombucha
Strive Fuel
Tengin
(and possibly a couple more vendors)

Come discover some great vegan products and support these growing, conscious businesses.

For any questions regarding the event, connect with Prajwal from our team on +91 9886749988 or prajwal@carrots-india.com
All these awesome sellers will be at our Mini Vegan Pop-Up Market this Saturday, 8th Feb, from 4 to 7 pm.

Come support them!
What would you like to know about us? What would you like to share with us?

On Monday, 10th Feb at 3 pm, we’ll be doing a live video on our Instagram page, to mark our 7th Anniversary. The video will be all about Carrots’ journey, our team, what we do and what we envision for the future.

We’d like to take this opportunity to ask you what you would like to know about us and about running a vegan restaurant. Send in your questions. We’ll note them down and try to answer them during the live video.

Also, if you’d like to share your thoughts on what role Carrots Restaurant has had in your life all these years, we’d love to hear! Share your special memories associated with us and let us know what Carrots Restaurant means to you.

Village Story explains why SuperFood Microgreens so healthy below...

Studies suggest that microgreens may contain 40% high concentrations of nutrients compared with mature vegetables and herbs. Due to their high antioxidant content, microgreens are considered a functional food, a food that promotes health or prevents disease.

Some tips for adding microgreens into your daily meals...

1. Using them as a topping for salads and soups.
2. Tossing a small handful into a smoothie or juice before blending.
3. Using them as a garnish alongside any main dish.
4. Placing microgreens on top of a healthy flatbread or pizza after cooking.
5. Replacing lettuce with microgreens on a healthy burger, sandwich, burritos, rolls or tacos.
