📰 Hello everyone! I hope you had a great Monday.
📊 The financial results season is coming to an end. Here are the few interesting companies to follow this week:
▪️12/09: Oracle
▪️15/09: Adobe
▪️16/09: Manchester United
🆔 Binance is introducing "soulbound tokens". These will be distributed to people who decide to complete their KYC (Know Your Customer). You know when you have to upload your ID card and take a picture of yourself with today's date written on a sheet of paper? That's KYC. In Binance's case, a soulbound token is a unique (like an NFT) and non-transferable token (unlike a classic NFT) linked to a unique social identity. Those who wish to participate in this project will be able to access exclusive programs and rewards programs.
🇫🇷 🍎 France decides to move the "dark stores" used by Gorillas, Flink, Getir, etc. to the warehouse category and no longer stores. As a result, many dark stores will become illegal... Another blow to this business model that is struggling to generate euros instead of burning them...
🚙 Uber Eats signs a 10-year deal with autonomous delivery startup Nuro.
⚡️ Tesla will ask its users to vote for the location of future "Superchargers" charging stations. Tesla now has over 35,000 stations worldwide! By the end of the year, Superchargers should be available to other electric vehicles.
🍿 Ubisoft is developing 3 mobile games exclusively for Netflix users:
▪️Mighty Quest 2
▪️Valiant Hearts 2
▪️A new Assasin's Creed game
😳 Chinese e-commerce giant Pinduoduo's net revenue more than tripled in Q2 2022 vs. the same quarter last year! Its stock has soared more than 40% in the past month!
🇪🇺 5 European countries agree on a minimum tax rate of 15% for big multinationals (especially tech boxes). France, the Netherlands, Italy, Spain and Germany want to implement this as soon as possible.
Have a nice evening to all of you !

What would invalidate the rise of BTC? The break of $20,800.
If all goes well for The Merge, ETH will outperform BTC. Technical target: $2,160.

📰 Hello everyone, hope you are doing well.
📈 Yesterday, stocks went up quite a bit. Investors are pretty neutral and wondering if the worst is already over for this year. The big focus of the week is the Consumer Price Index, one of the indicators of the inflation rate in the US. It is due out today. It should show inflation continuing to slow in August.
😳 Apple tells us that 3 trillion photos were taken with iPhones last year. In 1999, the peak year for film cameras, we're talking about only 80 billion photos according to Kodak. Benedict Evans estimates that between Android and iOS, 8000 billion photos would have been taken last year. A small x100...
📱 Tim Cook revealed that his biggest debate with Steve Jobs before the iPhone launch in 2007 was whether or not to subsidize Apple smartphones by carriers. Steve Jobs didn't want any subsidy (carriers paying Apple directly to attract customers), but he preferred a model in which Apple could recoup a percentage of carrier subscriptions. Cook preferred the subsidy model and it turned out he was right. The first year, no subsidy and sales OK, but no more. Year 2, subsidies arrive and iPhone sales take off. Jobs was more creative in his approach, Cook more down to earth... That's the big difference between Jobs' Apple and Cook's.
✨ Tesla wants to build a lithium refinery in Texas. Construction could start as early as the end of the year.
🌖 China plans 3 missions to the moon after discovering a lunar mineral called Changesite- (Y) that contains helium-3 and could be a good source of energy.
🔫 Visa, Mastercard and American Express are partnering to track US arms and ammunition sales to alert authorities to suspicious transactions.
🚜 Tractor maker Deere, which will release autonomous tractors starting this year, expects to generate 10% of its revenue from software sales by the end of the decade.
💰 MicroStrategy, the company of Bitcoin Maximalist Michael Saylor, plans to sell $500 million worth of stock to buy even more bitcoins. To the moon Mickael!
🤔 Jack Dorsey and Jay-Z decide to give away $1000 worth of bitcoins to all the students in their Bitcoin Academy. Nice airdrop...
☕️ Starbucks officially announces Starbucks Odyssey, the program that will combine the brand's loyalty program with an NFTs system. The program will be built on the Polygon blockchain and is expected to be available in 2023.
Have a nice evening and see you tomorrow!

📰 Hello everyone, hope all is well.
🔥 Inflation is not slowing down in the U.S. +8.3% in August vs August 2021.
📉 Following this news the markets collapse considering they expect an even tougher Fed. One of the worst days since 2020:
▪️- 4% + for the S&P 500
▪️- 5% + for the Nasdaq
▪️Nvidia falls 9.47%, Meta falls 9.37%, Coinbase falls 8.84%, Amazon falls 8%, and bitcoin falls over 9%.
😳 Two big Wall Street institutions, Charles Schwab and Fidelity, are launching a new crypto exchange called EDX Markets.
📺 YouTube distributed over $6 billion to the music industry between July 2021 and June 2022. A year-over-year increase of $2 billion.
🍏 Apparently, the Apple Card which is managed by Goldman Sachs would be the cause of quite a few problems for the American bank. Indeed, Goldman is the US bank with the highest default rate of all banks (on the credit card segment) partly because of the Apple Card which distributes credits too "easily" to people who should not have access to it.
⚡️ Tesla is building its first Supercharger V4 station with a Megapack battery system and solar panels. One Megapack can store enough electricity to charge 40 vehicles.
📈 Nintendo stock takes off following the hugely successful launch of Splatoon 3, a new game for Switch.
🚗 HSBC analysts tell us that Porsche's expected valuation on entry is way too high. As a reminder, some people were talking about a valuation between 60 and 85 billion euros. HSBC analysts tell us about 57 billion euros max.
👟 Puma is the new brand to enter the Eldorado of NFTs. The brand is launching a new website3 called Black Station that will allow you to buy NFTs that can be exchanged for exclusive sneakers.
🪙 Coinbase's COO tells us that the company is not going to engage in a price war with companies like Binance that are starting to offer $0 commission. For her, Coinbase's simplicity and security make their users willing to pay higher commissions. According to her, the fact that Binance offers lower commissions has not affected Coinbase's revenue.
Have a nice day and see you tomorrow!
