Don't get into a position unless you know you can come out winning and don't sell unless you HAVE TO to avoid liquidation (or to reposition yourself only if you know it will supplement for the loss you just received).
For Instance:
If you start with $1,000 and you make $100 that's + 10% gains. If you start with $1,000 and you LOSE $100 then it's -12% gains (to get back to where you were because your wallet is now smaller). Chip away with bad losses nad you slowly bleed your wallet.
Trade vs Stableoins and HODL your profits, not lose them.

Crypto Kyle's Trading Tips of the Day
I've noticed patterns in crypto just like I notice patterns in art, life, human behavior, etc... And what I notice is how long a human can focus for and "hyperfocus" tends to be short lived. But there are also buy and sell cycles.
When scalping I noticed that every 30 minutes in general we'll see a mini "pump" on 5 minute charts or half that time on a down trend when we're still bullish. After a cycle (tendsd to typically be 3 but can be 5 sometimes or other random numbers if manipulated or at key resistance or support zones.
Any ways, 30 minutes at a time someone has good focus and needs a little break. The longer swing cycles tend to be around 4 hours. General time zones for PST seems to be market pumping starting sometimes at 3:30 am weekdays and then sometimes 6:30am cycle starts gnerally and ends around 10:30 to 11:00 am then starts again around like 3-4 pm and gets aggressive around 6PM to 7PM and hyper aggressive in spurts till around 10-11pm PST then selloff.
Also, keep in mind there are people globally in crypto and if something like Coronavirus hits a certain area hard that relies on crypto, it may affect specific cryptos or the entire market in general. So trade to stablecoins and sit and wait if that happens. If you are unsure, don't trade. You don't HAVE to constantly be in a trade. (We'll discuss the bull/bear pairs on Binance in another post sometime but they are brilllliant!!)
Make sure to watch for a few days and get your flow down before taking my word for it. And also, different charts move differently. So look at several major alts since they have more "flow" to them more or less (not XRP lol). And make sure to get in "early" before a trend starts or you might miss your sell zones and fomo sell or take a s/l hit and that just suck. :/
That's what I noticed but DYOR. Start looking at cycles of buy/sell and make an excel sheet or google sheet and if you notice anything, HMU or let the group know and we'll keep a combined eyeball on it and try to nail it down to help make better trade decisions on timing.

Trend changes
1.) Look for bigger time frames
2.) Look for "triple mountain peak or double top / double bottom
3.) Look for support and resistance zones, the more there are the stronger the support or resistance
If unsure, just don't trade. There's always a coin pumping at some point (especially with bull/bear pairs) but sometimes its even hard to determine the absolute direction so just simply do NOT be in a position and sit sidelined.
Also, you could always hedge... if you think that it has potential to go in your favor, go 60% with s/l in one direction and 40% in the other with s/l. if one hits, then the other will still win and you take a minor hit to the s/l and the other takes off.
