This lioness is an absolute champion and inspiration for us all in the crusade against the tyranny unfolding around us daily. It's been fantastic to connect with Louise who immediately understood what the Stands are all about on every level. What’s the POINT of the marching rallies?🤔
Anyone that has been with us since we formed last May knows that we rally to BUILD COMMUNITY. Like-minded individuals come together and enjoy being in each other’s company at a rally, it’s what will give some first-timers the resolve to return home and not comply any more. But the purpose going forward is to outreach to everyone possible en route in order to build numbers.
Historically, any regime that has been ended peacefully has required 3.5% of the population’s support. We need more people to join us and cease to comply if we are to change what’s happening. With vaccine passports and the child vax situation, we are actually at a point where we have the opportunity to welcome many new people - their line in the sand has now been reached, hence the many jabbed people that attend the marches.
The rallies welcome many first and second timers, and there were many families with us on Saturday, and some amazing young activists putting their all into it. Newcomers then have the confidence to return home, defy and join in local outreach. Even if they never come to a rally again, they are ‘turned’; they’ll defy, and they’ll encourage others to defy. Because they’ve met the freedom community and they know we are many and we are building.
Standing shouting demands or raiding a building will not bring these new people out and grow our numbers, which is our aim. Not that this form of protest is wrong, but it’s aims are different. Many people that came to the original marches no longer attend, but have gone away to their own areas and are working hard there. Everyone has different ideas on how we proceed, but with the rallies, our goal is to BUILD COMMUNITY to enable the confidence for MASS non-compliance and mass push-back.
Other groups do other types of protest, but they are less likely to get families and new people engaging in these as the energy is very different, and not suited to some families. People can choose what kind of action suits them best, and this may change and progress as their time and experience in the movement goes on.
When you rally with us, if it’s your first march or second time maybe, just march and enjoy the comradeship, speak to new friends, exchange numbers and just revel in being with so many like-minded etc. But anyone else, if they want to be growing the movement, should be trying to outreach to as many people as possible:
- Pop down side roads and leaflet door to door.
- Speak to people in the communities we march through, ask their opinions.
- Hand out leaflets, give like-minded locals piles of flyers to pop in their area’s letterboxes.
- Speak to shop keepers - many let you leave piles of leaflets and business cards on their counters
- Ask like-minded shop keepers if you can post information stickers / posters on their buildings etc. (They let you)
- Speak to people stuck in traffic.
Etc etc.
A three hour march can be hugely productive, or it can be a waste of your time.
It’s only what people make of it, not what someone else makes for them.
Many people work very hard on these marches, we see them, and it’s this that will help us grow.
Please know we listen to all constructive feedback, we’ve surveyed the groups in the past, and we use this feedback going forward.
Lets gather that 3.5%
