Let's nerd on coliving πŸ€ͺ😎πŸ₯³
Interesting stats so far! Participate in the poll to see the results :)
Out of the coliving topic - found this very interesting magazine, talking about everything form the definition of self to can we shape reality and much more:

https://psychologicalsciences.unimelb.edu.au/__data/assets/pdf_file/0008/3569183/Heres-looking-at-you-article.pdf

Who are you? Where did you come from,
where are you going and what makes you tick?
β€œKnow thyself” isn’t an easy maxim to follow,
so let New Scientist be your guide on a journey
of self-discovery. Over the next 12 pages,
we attempt to take you out of yourself and
answer the most profound questions about
that mysterious, strangely foreign creature
in the mirror: you.

Enjoy!
Also, OpenDoor.io just launched a "Coliving Crash Course" πŸ™Œ
This application-only course, which only costs $30, is meant for community builder (and probably curious coliving residents) and teaches how to build culture, the important logistical knowledge, and how to find a home.
Here is the genius part: at the end, they state that "if you join an OpenDoor community within 6 months of the course end date, we will apply your course fees towards your rent".
How genius is the approach of onboarding residents into the culture before they even apply to becoming a resident! Incredible initiative and incredibly well set up within the OpenDoor ecosystem - great job! πŸ’ͺ
And my quote of the day, by our dear Sigmund Freud:

"I believe in external hazard, but not internal randomness"

(my own translation from the passage from Psychopathology of Everyday Life, which is given more depth it its translation through "I believe in outer (real) chance, but not in inner (psychic) accidents")
Also, a friend of mine pointed me towards this - seems like they built their own PMS system to create self-organized communities!
Did anyone hear about this? 🧐
And another find:
In short: share your home with friends, only.
Genius.
And, gotta give credits to Rick Schools from SoWeBuild.com for creating a small guide on community building.
