I got bored from the question whether "coliving has a hyphen" so I launched 👉 doescolivinghaveahyphen.com
Hope this helps and brings some clarity in the #coliving scene 😅

Does coliving have a hyphen?
No, coliving does not have a hyphen. Discover the three main reasons why.
"A leader is someone who is able to convince others to step up for his/her vision" said my friend tonight.
Yes, do I say.
And I will add: as a leader, ask yourself whether the vision is yours, or whether it comes from listening to what's actually needed.
A true leader is someone who actualizes people's needs.
Be the leader you want to see.

Just received this response to my recent Coliving Cocktail. Most beautiful mail I got from 2021. What I'd call... #colivingpoetry
In short: coliving - the space to learn to listen.
And: aren't hosts senseis at the end, whose role is to become obsolete, and to transfer their way of being?

It's by witnessing this that I can remind myself that nature is a scare resource nowadays.
I used to want to live in cities but now that the cities have shaped me, the rural is calling me... but would I actually live by myself? It's a question I'm still pondering on, as cities tend to have one big benefit: the access to people, no matter how isolated one may think he or she is.
(PS: I'm not referring to lockdown scenarios, but to general pre- and post-lockdown city life)
My reflecting therefore is: people will always come first, and nature after.
And hence... rural coliving sounds good to me 🙃

I've always been talking (at least to myself a lot) about the importance of onbarding in coliving spaces.
1. When someone joins your community, you want them to be integrated quickly into the community, its culture, rules and rituals.
2. This can happen by itself, but usually takes time. And time is the most scare resource there is on earth.
3. Therefore, it is key to create an onboarding program: creating an experience that will facilitate the integration of the new residents within the community.
