ከነዚህ ውጥኖች መካከል አንዱ የሆነው የሴቶች የአመራር ልማት ፕሮግራም ለአንድ አመት ያህል ያሰለጠናቸውን 50 ሴት መካከለኛ አመራሮች በቅርቡ ማስመረቁ ይታወሳል።

በኢትዮጵያ 'ፈጣንና ቀጣይነት ያለው ሁሉን አቀፍ ለውጥ በሴቶች ተሳትፎ ይረጋገጣል' በሚል መረ ቃል እየተከበረ የሚገገኘው የዘንድሮው አለም አቀፍ የሴቶች ቀን በአፍሌክስ ሲከበር መላው አመራር እና ሰራተኛ የጾታ እኩልነት በአመራር መስኩ እንዲረጋገጥ የበኩሉን ሃላፊነት እንዲወጣ አደራ በማስያዝ እንደሆነ ተገልጿል።

Strategic Meeting Enhances Collaboration Between AFLEX and Armenian Leadership Academy

Sululta - 11 March, 2025 (AFLEX) – A pivotal strategic meeting held between AFLEX and the Public Leadership Excellence Academy of Armenia, aimed at enhancing collaboration in the field of leadership development.

The meeting brought together key figures from both institutions, including AFLEX's Leadership Development, Vice Chief Mrs. Meseret Desta, other management representatives from AFLEX, and a delegation from Armenia led by Khachatur Ghazeyan, Rector at Armenian Academy and H.E Sahak Sargsyan, Armenian Ambassador to Ethiopia.

During the meeting, participants discussed AFLEX's recent reforms, scaling initiatives, and transformative approaches in leadership training. The Armenian delegates also had the opportunity to visit the AFLEX Leadership Development and Training Center located in Sululta, where the meeting was held.
Mrs. Meseret emphasized the importance of sharing expertise between the two institutions, stating, "We want to share expertise as the Armenian institution is more experienced in leadership development." She highlighted several areas of potential cooperation that could benefit both organizations, including joint training programs and resource sharing.

The rector of the Armenian Academy, Mr. Ghazeyan, echoed these sentiments, expressing optimism about the partnership. "Collaboration is essential in today's rapidly changing world, and we are excited about the opportunities this partnership will bring for both our institutions," he said.

The Armenian Ambassador to Ethiopia, H.E Sahak Sargsyan, also commented on the significance of this collaboration, stating,"This partnership marks a pivotal step in the educational collaboration of our countries, highlighting the commitment to advancing leadership excellence in our regions."

The partnership between the Public Leadership Excellence Academy of Armenia and AFLEX is set to be formalized with the official signing of an agreement in the coming weeks.

AFLEX and Leading Like Mandela Institute Sign Partnership Agreement

Addis Ababa, 14 March 2025 (AFLEX) - The African Leadership Excellence Academy (AFLEX) and the Leading Like Mandela Institute have signed an MoU aimed at enhancing leadership development across Africa. The virtual ceremony was attended by key figures from both organizations, including Mr. Zadig Abrha, President of AFLEX; Dr. Liqat Azam, CEO of the Leading Like Mandela Institute; and Mrs. Ndileka Mandela, founder of the institute.

The partnership focuses on three main objectives: organizing joint conferences on themes related to Africa's future, developing leadership programs specifically for African youth and women, and establishing leadership development systems across various African nations.
In his address, Mr. Zadig Abrha remarked, “AFLEX stands as a bridge builder between leaderships across the Continent.” He elaborated on this sentiment, stating, “As Ethiopia is a country that championed African liberation during colonialism, our commitment lies in nurturing African leadership that can truly transform the continent.” He expressed pride in partnering with the Leading Like Mandela Institute, highlighting that collaborating with an African institution is particularly meaningful. “This partnership is not just symbolic; it represents a collective effort towards impactful change,” he added. To ensure the agreement's success, he announced the formation of a technical committee from both organizations, emphasizing, “We are dedicated to taking concrete steps toward implementation.”

Mrs. Ndileka Mandela shared Mr. Zadig's sentiments about Ethiopia's legacy, saying, “Ethiopia stands as a defender of African liberation, and this collaboration resonates deeply with our vision.” She connected this with her commitment to leadership development, stating, “We look forward to implementing this agreement, which is vital for cultivating the next generation of leaders.” She further underscored the initiatives undertaken by the Leading Like Mandela Institute.

Dr. Liqat Azam highlighted the broader implications of the partnership, asserting, “This collaboration is crucial for nurturing leaders capable of driving Africa's progress.” He connected his thoughts to the need for empowerment.

The MoU marks a significant step in ongoing efforts to cultivate leadership excellence within Africa. Both organizations are dedicated to translating this agreement into actionable initiatives that will benefit emerging leaders across the continent.
