The African Leadership Academy and the United Nations in Ethiopia signed an agreement to work together.
Addis Ababa: February 27/2016 (EZA) African Leadership Excellence Academy and the United Nations Coordinating Office signed an agreement to work together.
The agreement has been signed by the Chief of the African leadership Excellence academy Zadig Abraha and the chief convener of the United Nations in Ethiopia and humanitarian aid coordinator Dr. Ramiz Alakbarov.
The purpose of the agreement is to increase leadership capacity and collective thinking to achieve sustainable development goals in Ethiopia and Africa.

The purpose of the agreement is to increase leadership capacity and collective thinking to achieve sustainable development goals in Ethiopia and Africa.
It is also said that it will include developing the capacity and skills of government employees and other professionals working on development goals.
Among the goals of the agreement is to encourage the cultivation of different ideas and to develop a culture of discussion and to create new leaders for change.
As Zadig Abraha, the Chief of the African Leadership Excellence Academy, said at this time, the academy has started working on 13 projects that will be implemented in three years.
Today's agreement has stated that it aims to strengthen leadership education in Africa and create capacities to create competent leadership.
They said the agreement is helpful for the leadership to make efforts with knowledge and cooperation to accomplish things that will promote together in Ethiopia and Africa.
The chief convener of the United Nations in Ethiopia and Humanitarian Affairs Coordinator Dr. Ramiz Alakbarov appreciated the vision of the academy.
He stated that he will continue to work on empowering leaders, training and building the skills required to create vision-oriented professionals.
They also pointed out that to achieve sustainable development goals, strengthening institutions will be carried out and this will create a great potential for the future.
The academy is playing a great role to spread Pan Africanism is foreign minister Leulseged Tadesse, Director General of International Organizations.
Africa is moving with its own agenda and said for the success, collective thinking and collective power is needed.
They have also indicated that the academy is working to create qualified leaders in the continent by raising common ideas.
They said the agreement will create a lot of potential for the work done by the academy and will help to achieve the African vision.

AFLEX, ACSO and ECSOC Unite for Action-Driven Collaboration
SULULTA, March 12, 2024 - AFLEX (African Leadership Excellence Academy), ACSO (Authority for Civil Society Organization) and ECSOC (Ethiopian Civil Society Organization Council) have officially signed a memorandum of Action (MoA) to establish a collaborative partnership.
The agreement was signed by Zadig Abraha, Chief of AFLEX, Ato Fassikaw Molla, Deputy Director General of ACSO and Hanna Weldegebriel, Vice Chairperson of ECSOC at the AFLEX leadership development center in Sululuta city.
Zadig Abreha highlighted that the purpose of signing the MoA is to foster a partnership between AFLEX, ACSO, and ECSOC.
He expressed his anticipation for the collaborations to come to realization, emphasizing that the MoA should be seen as a memorandum of action, reflecting the need for tangible results and the transformation of plans into reality.
Additionally, Chief of AFLEX delivered a presentation on AFLEX's reform, scale-up, and transformation.

Furthermore, Dr. Gezahegn Kebede, Chairperson of the Authority of Civil Society Organization Committee, presented on possible areas of collaboration during the meeting.
