The Language Interest Group of AEGEE-Europe needs to prepare for the European Day of Languages (EDL).
This year, we will celebrate the 20th anniversary of the EDL and we want to make it special.
However, we need your help to prepare an amazing celebration for this flagship project and promote multilingualism, language learning and language diversity all over Europe.

Dear AEGEEans,
Language Interest Group is ready to announce the European Day of Languages
In September, 2021 this event was held for the first time. Since then, it has been a good tradition which unites people from all over Europe.
The general objectives of the European Day of Languages are:
➖Alerting the public to the importance of language learning and diversifying the range of languages learnt in order to increase plurilingualism and intercultural understanding;
➖Promoting the rich linguistic and cultural diversity of Europe, which must be preserved and fostered;
➖Encouraging lifelong language learning in and out of school, whether for study purposes, for professional needs, for purposes of mobility or for pleasure and exchanges
