41 kids enjoyed a fun filled shabbaton at the Fischl home in Lakewood.
The fun began already Thursday night, starting with a Siyum Mishnayos, led by Rabbi Mordechai Gobioff, Director of Client Services-National. Following the siyum, all participants enjoyed a full catered meal, dancing and an exciting juggling show.
The fun continued Friday morning, starting with a full breakfast buffet, and then everyone was off to iPlay America , swimming and finally a limo ride back by Tri State Limo escorted by the Lakewood Police Department to the Fischl home to prepare for shabbos.
Over 100 people were wined and dined in a large tent for the Friday night seuda, followed by a beautiful oneg shabbos at the home of Mr. Shaul Mizrachi. The boys returned to their beds to get some much needed rest, and found pajamas on their beds, complete with the Achim B'yachad - Chai Lifeline logo.
The next morning the fun began again. After a beautiful davening, an elaborate kiddush, and the shabbos seuda, the boys were addressed by Rabbi Friedman, with some inspiring words of chizuk, and they all had a great time at the shabbos party that followed. The fun continued with games, and activities, a beautiful shalosh seudos, and then of course the musical Havdalah was the perfect ending to a perfect shabbos. But it didn't end there-the weekend came to a close with a melava malka to remember. Each of the boys went home with their own microphone/speaker system, and memories that will last forever!
This shabbaton could not have happened without the help of Hatzolah of Lakewood, Simcha Shain and the amazing Chai Lifeline medical staff, Chai Lifeline Lakewood, especially Aaron Koplowitz, Bikur Cholim of Lakewood, our division head Aron Yossi Spielman, Yoely Gefen among all Achim B'yachad - Chai Lifeline volunteers, and of course, the Fischl family.
We can't wait until the next Fischl Shabbaton!
