A crowd of 200 boys gathered to enjoy a beautiful סיום משניות, dinner and an exciting water park trip.
The gala evening was a welcome respite from the world of illness and the culmination of months of learning, as close to 30 boys who have been learning משניות with Achim B'Yachad volunteers completed מסכת ביצה.
The סיום took place at SplashPlex an all-new water park in Mt. Laurel, New Jersey, with the מסיימים joined by their brothers, transforming the סיום into a celebration of epic proportions. Ari, an Achim B'Yachad participant, said the הדרן, followed by a lavish buffet dinner in honor of the סיום . Each boy received an Achim B'Yachad cap and t-shirt before heading off to enjoy two fun filled hours exploring the giant slides, massive pools and refreshing water cannons. As the evening drew to a close, every boy was given a giant four foot tube shaped like a sprinkle covered donut as a souvenir of the סיום .
A truly groundbreaking event, the סיום was a joint event between Achim B'Yachad patients and iShine, which hosts programs for siblings whose lives are also impacted when illness strikes a family member.
