🙏 Welcome to the Family. Achim B’Yachad Coordinator, Hershy Katz and Chai Lifeline Director of Client Services National, Rabbi Mordechai Gobioff, recruiting new volunteers. Way to start the new year.
This past Motzei Shabbos, Achim B’yachad Volunteers held a surprise birthday party for Shimmy who just reached his 18th birthday. It was an evening Shimmy and his family will never forget! The event was held at Shimmy’s house, where approximately 30 Achim B’Yachad volunteers came out to celebrate with Shimmy with a live musical performance by Avrumi Strass and Shea Berko, accompanied by Duvid Lunger, along with dancing and a kumzitz. A lively crowd gathered around Shimmy and sang “Happy Birthday,” while presenting him with a brand new i-Pad as his birthday gift.
A video presentation in Shimmy’s honor featuring Achim B’Yachad volunteers and Jewish music stars was also shown at the gathering. Speaking at the party, Shimmy’s father expressed his heartfelt gratitude to all the Achim B'Yachad volunteers for always being available to be there for Shimmy " 24/7 ." Shimmy's father specifically singled out Hershy Katz, Achim B’Yachad Service Coordinator, to thank him for all of his efforts on behalf of Shimmy and their family.
We wish Shimmy a very happy birthday, and B'ezerat Hashem, look forward to celebrating with him for many years to come!

Last week over 200 boys from our superb I-Shine program of Boro Park, Monsey, Monroe, Skvere and Williamsburg joined to spend a beautiful Shabbos together at Camp Simcha.
The shabbaton began with a thrilling stop at Have A Hoot Fun Center, where the boys had lunch and climbed the rock wall, indoor ropes course and ballocity. They then continued to camp where they were met with a delicious hot toameahu and an exciting program. The meals and programs were run by our phenomenal I-Shine coordinators and counselors who kept the kids enthralled all Shabbos. Throughout Shabbos the boys had a chance to connect with one another and share their personal challenges with their friends who are currently going through the same. When the buses pulled out Motzei Shabbos more important than the big bag of exciting handouts the boys were holding was the beaming expression on each childs face.
