Rabbi Moshe Gertner of Project CHAI on a conference call that was set up today for the volunteers on how to cope with the situation of yesterday’s terrible tragedy in Jersey City.
In light of the recent tragedy of losing our beloved volunteer Moshe Hersh Deutch HY”D, Our volunteers gathered this past Thursday night-ליל שישי in Williamsburg for a night of חיזוק and hope.
It was a very touching moment when the volunteers sat together, sharing moments and stories of Moshe Hersh HY”D following a heartwarming kumzitz with Hershel Fekete accompanied by Efraim Hoffman of @lidelband and Shea Burich Fried.
Hershy Katz, Our Coordinator, spoke to the volunteers about dealing with fear and what a special volunteer Moshe Hersh A”H was. “He was an example of an Achim B’Yachad volunteer”. Moshe Hersh H”YD will be missed and remembered for his tremendous kindness and devotion.
May his Neshama Have an aliya.

Our volunteers in Eretz Yisroel welcoming Moshele who just came home to his family after having surgery in New York.
Thank you R’ Leibish Lish for helping those children fight illness by going around in the hospitals to lighten them up at their bedside. May you continue to bring simcha to חולי ישראל.
The Fischls did it again!
Another indescribable “Fischl Shabbaton” for boys at the home of Mayer and Chaya Rivka Fischl in Lakewood NJ.
On behalf of the children, their families and the Achim B’Yachad staff we would like to express our deepest appreciation to the Fischls for opening their home and hearts once again.
