Transfers and refunds
We hope you’ll be part of our Epic Tail in 2021. Your registrations, room choices and T shirt choices are set to transfer to next year. Alternatively, we can offer you a full refund of all money paid so far towards 2020. If you would prefer a refund, please email us at wildnorthuk@gmail.com. So we can keep track of everything, we can only accept requests by email. Please include your nickname and the word ‘Refund’ in the subject line. Please tell us your preferred bank payment details, and we’ll get the money transferred as soon as we can.

Please request your refund by Sunday 26 July 2020 at 11.59pm. After this date, all registrations will transfer to 2021.

The RegSys will go on hold on the same date, Sunday 26 July at 11.59pm. It will reopen in the New Year 2021, date TBC. If you wish to edit your reg, please do so by this date. After this date, changes can still be requested by email.

In a nutshell…
So yes, we’re going into hibernation early. But don’t worry. The third edition of Wild North is still going ahead, it’s just been postponed. We will meet again, and we will be back, as nutty and fuzzy as always. In the meantime, stay safe, keep those paws clean, and let’s make Wild North 2021 an event to remember.

While we are unable to meet you in person at Wild North, we are happy to reveal that we will be bringing Wild North to you all, because the Epic Tail of Britain is going virtual!

On the 26th & 27th September, we will have a livestream featuring some of the events that we would offer to the Wild North experience, except everyone can watch along and even take part!

There will also be an opportunity to raise money for a good cause throughout the weekend.

We hope to reveal more about what to look forward to in the next few weeks, and we look forward to seeing you join us!

Hello Flufftails!

We're busy making preparations for the Wild North: Virtual Tails. Here are a number of ways you can get involved.

* We will have games to take part in during the two days of streaming, be on the lookout for which interactive events catch your eye.
* There will be a charity the stream is raising money for, so there will be plenty of time to send your donations in.
* We're looking for vocalists and musicians to collaborate for a traditional Northern song. If you like folk music or just fancy a singalong, please get in touch.
* There will be a few spots in the schedule for story reading, so if you have a short story you want to share, please send in your submission. Some of the themes we're looking for: medieval, Viking, British history, and of course anything animal-themed.
* The stream will also have a break reel of artwork, so budding illustrators can have their pieces on display for the duration of the streams.
* We are also open to suggestions for your own video submissions if there's a topic you'd like to discuss or a video you'd like to make.

So we can get everything ready in time, please send us your submissions by Monday 31 August.

Hello Flufftails!

We are proud to announce that it is coming, Wild North: Virtual Tails will be running on the 26th and 27th September and we have a full list of events planned.

There will be plenty of opportunities to listen to olden tales, spooky tales, historical tales, as well as an interactive tale featuring myself as a Choose Your Own Adventure with full audience participation, all spread out during the two days!

We also have the honour of bringing back the Walworth Castle Birds of Prey to show off their stunning owls, hawks and falcons! Plus, Swordplay Specialist and Teacher Sascha SwordDerg will be providing an exclusive sword fighting guide.

Finally, the Virtual Tails will be raising money for the Newcastle Dog and Cat Shelter, so be sure to join in and help for a good cause. We will look forward to seeing you all in three weeks' time!

So the weather is cold, the wind blows a chill, and we have all had to retreat to our forts for safety and comfort!

Fear not however for the administration team, and myself of course, have put together a fun and exciting weekend for you all!

We will be running events Saturday 26th and Sunday 27th starting at 14:00 BST.

We have a variety of entertainment for you. Music, Swords, a Quiz, Art, even a Choose your own adventure story!
