French doctors establish organisation ARIEM for environmental diseases.

The ambition is that ARIEM develops into an international research organisation for the EHS electrical hypersensitivity and MCS chemical sensitivity, with strong scientific backing.

The founders are French EHS researcher and clinic owner Dominique Belpomme, clinic director Philippe Irigaray (PhD), French physician and radiation environmentalist Marc Arazi, and four French patient organisations in the field.

French surveys estimate that a million French people experience a link between electromagnetic fields and health problems.

We ask the EU to enact RF EMF exposure limits, to protect humans – above all children, electrohypersensitive people (EHS), etc; apply the precautionary principle.

A decline of > 75% of flying insects in protected nature areas over 27 years (1989-2016) testifies to the seriousness of the problem. These are consequences of the rapid installation of mobile phone masts and the resulting increase in electromagnetic radiation.

Gro Harlem Brundtland, former doctor, prime minister, head of the WHO, caused a stir around the world in 2002, by saying:

"I get a bad headache when I hold my mobile phone up to my ear. I react to mobile phones that are closer than about 4 metres."
