DISAPPOINTING "SCHEER OPINION REPORT" from the EU

Our scientific working group have spent weeks reading and analysing the SCHEER Opinion report. Although we welcome a review in this area, the scientific group’s conclusion of the SCHEER Opinion report is unfortunately extremely disappointing and as follows:

“This SCHEER report has by design a predetermined outcome in favor of the telecommunications industry’s needs of continued adherence to ICNIRP’s guidelines.
The SCHEER working group has conflicts of interest and is unbalanced as to the selection of its members.
The SHEER Opinion fails to include any of the many scientific experts who agree that there is sufficient evidence of health risks well below ICNIRP’s guidelines.
Thereby obstructing decisions to adopt much lower limits for better protection of the public and the environment. SCHEER’s so-called "assessment" is of low quality and fails to meet basic scientific criteria.
Furthermore, SCHEER completely ignores to do risk assessment for the environment.”

The EU has not reacted to many requests regarding side effects of the 5G deployment. In contrast, the EU has responded only with silence and continued support for the industry, with the result that:

- the citizens of Europe are even more irradiated today. Children and other vulnerable groups are particularly affected.

- the environment, the biodiversity and natural habitats are further affected by technology pollution, intensified mining, and increased energy consumption

- massive data collection and surveillance are constantly intensified.

The EU has genuinely failed to involve citizens in these important issues that affect all citizens every day in all aspects of everyday life and therefore do not comply to the Aarhus Convention.

Space billboards are made using a swarm of about 50 satellites. At a cost $65million they can still turn profit!

Call for European colaborative action to protect cell phone user’s health

Phonegate Alert and Europeans for Safe Connections is launching an important colaborative action to write to each of the national telecom regulators in the 27 countries of the European Union.

We are counting on both european partner organizations and citizens to take action to achieve real health protection for cell phone users in the wake of the Phonegate industry scandal.

Our common goal is to raise awareness among all official actors of the European telecom regulation by the end of the year.
