GET MARRIED OR DIE FASTING!
The Messenger of Allah ﷺ said:
“O young men, whoever among you can afford it, let him get married, for it is more effective in lowering the gaze and guarding one’s chastity. And whoever cannot afford it should fast, for it will be a shield for him.”

Ibn al Qayyim رحمه الله said;
*The ten reasons which cause Mahabbah (love) of Allaah to develop.*
*1. Reciting the Qur‘an*
Reflecting and understanding its meaning and its intent.
*2. Drawing closer to Allah*
Through optional deeds, after fulfilling the obligatory duties.
*3. Continuous dhikr (remembrance) of Allah*
With the tongue, the heart and the limbs – under all circumstances. The more constant the dhikr, the more mahabbah (love) develops and intensifies.
*4. Giving precedence to what Allaah loves over personal loves*
When being overcome by desires.
*5. Contemplating and deliberating*
Over the Names and Attributes of Allah.
*6. Recognising and remembering*
The favours and bounties of Allah – both the manifest and hidden.
*7. To be humble and submissive*
Before Allah – and this is the greatest matter.
*8. To be in seclusion*
Reciting the Qur‘ân, during that time in which Allah descends to the lowest heaven (which is the last third of every night), finishing this recitation with seeking Allah's forgiveness and repenting to Him.
*9. To sit in the gatherings*
Of true and sincere lovers of Allah, reaping the fruits of their speech, and not to speak except if there is benefit in it and that you know that such talk will increase you in goodness and that it will benefits others as well.
*10. To stay clear of all those causes*
Which distances the heart from Allah the Mighty and Majestic.
So these are the ten reasons which cause the person to develop true love for Allah and to reach the rank of al-muhabbah, by which he reaches his Beloved.

Shaykh Saalih ibn Fawzaan (may Allah preserve him) was asked:
*Q. What is the ruling on sending text messages every Friday and ending with the phrase “Jumu‘ah mubaarak”?
*A. The early generation DID NOT congratulate one another on Fridays, so WE SHOULD NOT introduce anything that they did not do.
[Ajwabat As’ilah Majallat al-Da‘wah al-Islamiyyah]
*Q. Every Friday one of my colleagues sends me a text saying “Ju’muaah Mubaarak” and he continues saying that he hopes that I will add that to my cell phone greeting or to my greeting on the internet forums; what is your view of this?
*A. This is an *innovation, Allah has not sent down any authority for this action. This is an action that is not known or narrated in the Sunnah; it has not been narrated that the Muslims should congratulate each other on Friday; rather it has only been reported that they would congratulate each other on Eid Al Adha and Eid Al Fitr not on Friday. Therefore putting this is a text and encouraging others to do it is an innovation and from spreading innovation.

Sheikh Abdul Musin Al Abaad (may Allah preserve him) was asked the following question:
*Q. Based on the premise that Friday is a (Eid) holiday, is it permissible to greet each other saying, Ju’muaah Mubaarak or Ju’muaah Accepted?
*A. By Allah, we don’t know of anything that proves the validity of this. As for the two Eids then it has been narrated that the companions when they would meet each other they would say, “May Allah accept it from us and you” or “May Allah accept your obedience”.

This was one of the du'ās that Imām Ahmad (رحمه الله) made:
"O Allāh, whoever from this Ummah was upon other than Truth while perceiving to be upon the Truth, then return him back to the Truth, so that he can be from the people of the Truth"
اللّهم من كان من هذه الأمة على غير الحق وهو يظن أنه على الحق فردّه إلى الحق ليكون من أهل الحق
_~ Al-Bidāyah wal-Nihāyah (10/329)_

Imām al-Qurṭubee: “There is no difference (of opinion) that backbiting is from major sins and that the one who backbites another person then upon him is to repent to Allāh 'Azza Wa Jall.”

Imām ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said:
“How many people have caused misery to their own children, the apples of their eyes, in this world and in the Hereafter, by neglecting them, not disciplining them, encouraging them to follow their whims and desires, thinking that they were honouring them when they were in fact humiliating them, that they were being merciful to them when in fact they were wronging them.
They have not benefited from having a child, and they have made the child lose his share in this world and in the Hereafter.
If you think about the corruption of children you will see that in most cases it is because of the parents.”

*A Poem About Salafiyyah*
What I am upon is clear as day,
I'd like to clarify this if I may.
For people seem to have misunderstood,
Spreading slander, misinformation and falsehood.
When it comes to matters of the deen,
Aqeedah, Manhaj, Beliefs and the Unseen.
I follow the path of those who came before,
The first 3 Generations - stopping where they stop and adding no more.
About them Allah said He is pleased;
Foremost in obedience, the first to drop to their knees.
It's not for me to understand the faith how I like
Isn't this the cause of misguidance and strife?
Beware of treading this dangerous path,
For it will lead to nothing except Allah's wrath.
You can't just understand the deen as you choose.
Stick to the understanding of the Companions and you will never lose.
So what I am upon is clear as day;
there's no need to fear what I say.
For you can be sure it has an authentic source,
and is not my own view or my own thoughts.
I don't do milads, khatams or call upon the dead.
Pls bring me an evidence that this is what the Messenger or Companions said.
Didn't you hear that all innovation will lead to the fire?
And distance you from the destination you desire?
Labels such as wahaabi and wobbler scaring the people,
Oh ignorant one, with a mind so feeble!
Do you even know what it is that you say?
Slandering a person who follows the Qur'an and the Prophet's way.
And takes the examples of the companions each day.
So what I am upon is far from grey.
Even it's night is as clear as it's day.
