Spreading authentic Islamic knowledge as practiced by the Messenger of Allah صلى الله عليه وسلم his companions & the early generations of Muslims.
Everyone's got an opinion, Alhamdulillah it's only the opinions of our righteous scholars that actually mean anything.
The Messenger of Allah salalaahu alayhi wasalam said;
"Indeed, the scholars are the inheritors of the prophets, for the prophets do not leave behind a dinar or a dirham for inheritance, but rather, they leave behind knowledge."
[Abu Dawood, At-Tirmidhee and Ibn Hibbaan]
When yawm al-qiyamah approaches, Allah will remove knowledge from the earth. One of the ways in which knowledge is taken away is by taking away the people of knowledge I.e the scholars. So all that is left are people with no knowledge and no understanding.
May Allah protect us from seeing such a time.
I will list 3 of the major heavyweight scholars of our time who have now sadly passed away (may Allah have mercy upon them).
• Sheikh Abdul Aziz bin Bāz
• Sheikh Salih ibn al-Uthaymeen
• Sheikh al-Albaani
I would highly recommend that everyone read their books, listen to them on YouTube, so that you can benefit from the knowledge that Allah bestowed upon them.

*Whenever the topic of Bid`ah comes up, to counter the argument many come up with questions like:*
"Did the Prophet ﷺ travel in a ship?
Did the Salaf travel in cars and planes?
Prove from the Sunnah that it is permissible to eat fried chicken?"
One has to understand that vehicles, planes and ships are used only as a means to reach the destination, they are not part of `Ibaadah in themselves.
When we talk about Bid`ah, we are referring to innovations in the Deen only. We are not referring to innovations in Science and Technology.
Anyways, to get to the point, if the people would commit to memory these two principles, they would protect their Deen and save themselves from doubts and confusion.
The First Principle:
In the matters of `Ibaadah (Worship), everything is Haraam/not allowed unless proven from the Qur’aan and Sunnah.
And the evidence for this is the saying of the Prophet ﷺ: ❝whosoever does an action which we have not commanded then it will be rejected.❞
And also: ❝whosoever introduces into this religion of ours that which is not part of it then it must be rejected.❞
And there are many more Ahaadeeth.
The Second Principle:
And in the matters of customs (food, clothing etc.), everything is allowed unless prohibited in the Qur’aan and Sunnah.
And the evidence for this is the saying of Allaah تعالى :
{Say: "Who has forbidden the adornment of Allaah which He has produced for His servants and the good [lawful] things of provision?"} [Surah al-A`raaf]
And Allaah is the One who Grants success.

*YOU CANNOT INVENT NEW WAYS TO WORSHIP OR GET CLOSER TO ALLAH* _because_
Allaah, the Exalted said:
الْيَوْمَ أَكْمَلْتُ لَكُمْ دِينَكُمْ وَأَتْمَمْتُ عَلَيْكُمْ نِعْمَتِي وَرَضِيتُ لَكُمُ الإِسْلاَمَ دِينًا
*"This day have I perfected your religion, completed my favour upon you and have chosen for you Islam as your religion."* (5:3)
*Evidence from the Prophet* _salalaahu alayhi wasalam_
*#1*
Ibn Amr narrates that the Messenger of Allaah (alayhis salaam) said:
*"There was not any Prophet before me except that it was a duty upon him to direct his nation to every good he knew for them and to warn them from every evil he knew for them."*
[Reported by Muslim in his Sahih]
*#2*
The Messenger (alayhis salaam) also said:
*"By Him in whose hand is my soul, I have not left anything which brings you closer to Paradise and distances you from the Fire except that I have commanded you with it and have I left anything which brings you closer to the Fire and distances you from Paradise except that I have prohibited you from it.*
[Related by Ahmad and Ibn Khuzaymah.]
*#3*
Jaabir bin Abdullah narrates:
"When the Messenger (alayhis salaam) would deliver a sermon, his eyes would be come red, his voice would be raised, and his anger would be severe, as if he was admonishing an army... and he would say, "To proceed, indeed the best speech is the speech of Allaah and the best guidance is the guidance of Muhammad and *the worst of affairs (in the religion) are the newly-invented matters, and every innovation is misguidance."*
[Reported by Muslim.]
*>>>>>>>>*
And the companion Abu Dharr al-Ghifaree stated, with what explains what has preceded:
*"The Messenger (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) left us whilst there was not a bird flapping its wings in the sky except that he mentioned knowledge regarding it to us."*
[Reported by al-Tabarani in al-Mu'jam al-Kabir no. 1647.]
•••••••••••••••
This is an evidence to show that the Allah through His Messenger (alayhis salaam) had indeed fulfilled His trust and conveyed the entire message with no deficiency or shortcoming therein. Those who innovate in the religion go against all of these evidences and imply that Allah never completed the religion of Islam.

Imam Malik (may Allah have mercy upon him) said;
“Whoever introduces an innovation into Islam thinking that it is good is implying that Muhammad betrayed his mission, because Allah (subhaanahu wata'ala) says:
{…This day, I have perfected your religion for you…} (Qur’an 5:3)
So, whatever was not part of the religion on that day, cannot be part of the religion today.”
