This weekend activists from the West Midlands, North East and Yorkshire joined the North West, for a challenging hike and scramble on Helvellyn in the scenic Lake District.
A great number participated in the hike, which also included scrambling up and down various rocky parts near the peak as well as a banner drop at the summit. Many also decided to swim in the refreshing lakes and stay overnight in the area too. It was a great bonding experience between people and regions.
We strongly encourage our activists to participate in self-improvement and physical training so we can stand out as a shining beacon for all to see.

Happy Summer Solstice!
Today marks the day where our glorious sun reaches its zenith and shines the longest.
Veneration of our sacred sun is perhaps one of the oldest traditions known to us; our ancestors saw it as a God or divine creation.
This belief, albeit very dim still persists to this day in places such as Stonehenge.
Our ancestors wrote this about midsummer (Summer Solstice):
“... on þam gim astihð
on heofenas up hyhst on geare,
tungla torhtust, and of tille agrynt,
to sete sigeð. Wyle syððan leng
grund behealdan and gangan lator
ofer foldan wang fægerust leohta,
woruldgesceafta.”
(... in which the jewel climbs up
highest in the year into the heavens,
brightest of stars, and descends from its place,
sinking to its setting. It likes then
to gaze longer upon the earth, the fairest of lights
to move more slowly across the fields of the world,
the created globe.)
