Keeping #OurHawkerCentres clean & safe is a shared responsibility. When we clear our tables, cleaners can focus on other tasks such as cleaning and disinfecting tables, enabling a faster turnover of clean tables.
This benefits everyone – diners, cleaners and hawkers!

Besides treating our loved ones well, let’s also be considerate towards our cleaners and other diners at #OurHawkerCentres.

Following the plant explosion that occurred at about 5pm in the industrial estate of Tanjung Langsat in Johor, Malaysia on 24 Feb (Thu), NEA has been closely monitoring Singapore’s air quality. The hourly PM2.5 and levels of volatile organic compounds recorded at NEA’s northeast air quality monitoring stations continued to remain low and within the normal variations. Toxic industrial chemicals were also not detected.
NEA will continue to monitor the air quality and provide updates where necessary. Hourly air quality information is available on NEA’s Twitter (https://twitter.com/NEAsg), website (www.nea.gov.sg) and haze microsite (www.haze.gov.sg).
