Me 17 years ago about to have my entire life changed, flipped and blessed ππΎ ... if it hadn't been for the grace of God, idk else I'd make it in a foreign land. Today, 17 years later, I am so much older π yet still youthful, and matured in so many areas, more grateful for my family, surrounded by a new village who stayed and supported us for 14yrs now when we didn't know what would happen to us, when the place we came to serve decided they no longer want to honor their commitment. Sheesh, had we the slightest idea, I think this would've been just another picture in my archives recounting fun time, happy times in Guyana. Sometimes God shows us a preview and other times, He just wants us to trust Him. We trusted blindly, literally, it all is working out for good. So many years later ... I am glad we took the flight, sooooo many lives have been impacted. Now, it's our turn!!! Hallelujahhhhh ππΎ ππΎ

Awww beloved ... the outpouring of love is heartwarming and encouraging. I was 22 years old in that photo ππ so young and full of dreams, aspirations and desire to simply do what God wants me to do.
It's now 2022 and I am almost double 22 π π€£ π still have the same passion, if possible even more, perhaps with just with a little less zeal - life eh! π πΈ but God!!
Your encouraging words and testimony of how your lives have been blessed by ours, help to make it all worth it, it really does. ππ½ π₯°π
When I was looking for photos y/day, I had a FLOOD of emotions and memories. Today, July 12, the day we landed (arrived) at Dulles International Airport on BWIA (last) straight Flight to the USA, it was different fr previous travels to the USA, this time we were not on vacation but in transition to a new home with many unknowns, but one surety that God who brought us here, will sustain us in a foreign land.
Well, I am grateful in spite of it all (IYKYK), God's will is being accomplished and He has truly continued to sustain me and my family.
I miss Guyana π¬πΎ, a lot, I feel like a total stranger to her, but she will always be home. Now, I just have a new home, that I am still getting settled in.
Could we have done some things differently, looking back, now, I'd say most definitely YES ... but if we knew what we'd face, the different choices may not result in us still being here, so we did the best we knew how at the time trusting and relying heavily on Yahweh all the way.
We grew as a family and made family connections ... I am super grateful for my church family ( transitioned and alive). LHMI hats off to you ππΎ.
One day, one day, I shall return soon, God willing, to testify like the yellow band π I wear, I am approved and settled divinely, because (as the red one I wear says) Covenant Keeper Jesus has helped me. I will testify that even after all these years, my confidence was saved and not thrown away (Hebrews 10:35) for GOD has brought to pass His promise to me fr many many years ago, sitting on a burgundy poof (ottoman) in Guyana π¬πΎ Ruimzeight to be precise and added Zeph. 3:20 as a bonus.
Thank you Jesus, thank you Parents & Sibs, thank you family: relatives, tribe, village, friends, and squad for believing in The Call on me and my family's lives.
It was indeed a #HappyArrivalDay 17 years later.
