🚧 Travelling through Punggol? 🛣️

From 22 June 2025, the cross junction between Punggol Place and Punggol Central, near Waterway Point, will be split into two junctions.🚦

This traffic arrangement is estimated to be in place until end-2028 to facilitate works for the Punggol interchange station on the Cross Island Line-Punggol Extension (#CRL).🚉

🚗🚶‍♀️Check out the visual for more details on the changes to motorist and pedestrian routes. ➡️ Look out for road markings and signage to guide you through the area.

We appreciate your understanding as these necessary changes help to improve connectivity in the region. 🙏

👮 In a joint enforcement operation with the Singapore Tourism Board last week, we caught 8 drivers and impounded their foreign-registered vehicles for providing illegal point-to-point services to the Buddha Tooth Relic Temple and Museum, as well as Gardens by the Bay. These drivers were also inspected and found to be clear of providing any unlicensed tourist guiding activities.

🚨 LTA will continue to act against drivers who provide illegal point-to-point services using vehicles without public service vehicle licences. Offenders face a fine of up to $3,000 and/or six months jail. Their vehicles may also be forfeited.

⚠️ #Reminder Avoid using illegal point-to-point services. Without proper licencing and insurance, they pose serious risks to passengers, especially when accidents occur.
The #ThoughtfulBunch loved seeing all of you at Newton DTL Line station earlier! Thank you to everyone who came down. 💙

To those who missed the chance, don't fret! You can still catch them at Orchard TEL station on 25th June, 1pm. 😉 See you then!
