የነፍስ ወከፍ ጠቅላላ የሀገር ውስጥ ምርት ዕድገት ብዙውን ጊዜ ከግለሰብ ገቢ እና ፍጆታ መጨመር ጋር ይዛመዳል። ይህ የሚያሳየው በአማካይ በሀገሪቱ ውስጥ ያሉ ሰዎች ካለፈው አመት በተሻለ ሁኔታ ላይ መገኘታቸውን ነው።

ሌላው የጠቅላላ የሀገር ውስጥ ምርት በነፍስ ወከፍ ገፅታ ደግሞ የጠቅላላ የሀገር ውስጥ ምርት በነፍስ ወከፍ የግዢ ሃይል እኩልነት(Purchasing power parity) ሲሆን ይህም በእያንዳንዱ ሰው አማካይ የኢኮኖሚ ውጤትን የሚያመለክት እና በአገሮች ያለውን የኑሮ ውድነት ታሳቢ ያደረገ ነው።

የኢትዮጵያ ብሔራዊ ባንክ የውጭ ምንዛሪ ገበያ ሥርዓትን ለማሻሻል ያለመ አዲስ የለውጥ እርምጃዎችን ተግባራዊ ማድረግ ጀምሯል።

ይህን ተከትሎ ከተወሰዱ እርምጃዎች ዉስጥ ከውጭ ለማስገባት ሊከፈል የሚችለው የቅድመ ክፍያ መጠን ከ5 ሺህ የአሜሪካን ዶላር ወደ 50 ሺህ የአሜሪካ ዶላር ከፍ  እንዲል ማድረጉን አስታውቋል።

ባለፈው ሐምሌ ወር 2016 ዓ.ም. ስራ ላይ የዋለው አዲሱ የውጭ ምንዛሪ አስተዳደር ስርዓት በውጭ ምንዛሪ ገበያ እና በሀገሪቱ የውጭ ክፍያ ሚዛን ላይ ከፍተኛ መሻሻል ማምጣቱን ባንኩ አስታዉሷል።

የውጭ ምንዛሪ ገበያ ማሻሻያዎች በተመለከተ ብሔራዊ ባንክ ባወጣዉ መግለጫ ላይ ለግል ተጓዦች የሚፈቀደው የውጭ ምንዛሪ በጥሬ ገንዘብ ወደ 10 ሺህ የአሜሪካን ዶላር ሲጨምር፣ ለንግድ ስራ መንገደኞች ደግሞ 15 ሺህ የአሜሪካን ዶላር ደርሷል።

በተጨማሪም የውጭ ምንዛሪ የባንክ ሂሳብ ያላቸው ግለሰቦች ከሂሳባቸው በካርድ መጠቀም የሚችሉት የውጭ ምንዛሪ መጠን ከ10 በመቶ ወደ 20 በመቶ ከፍ ብሏል።

የኢትዮጵያ ብሔራዊ ባንክ የውጭ ምንዛሪ ገበያን ለማረጋጋትና የውጭ መረጋጋትን ለመቆጣጠር ያለመ 50 ሚሊዮን ዶላር የውጭ ምንዛሪ ጨረታ ዛሬ ሐሙስ እንደሚያካሂድ አስታውቋል።

ይህ ጨረታ ለንግድ ባንኮች የቀረበ ሲሆን፣ ባንኩ በየሁለት ሳምንቱ ከሚያካሂዳቸው ተከታታይ ጨረታዎች ስድስተኛው ነው።

ከሁለት ሳምንት በፊት በተካሄደው አምስተኛው ዙር የውጭ ምንዛሪ ጨረታ፣ የአንድ የአሜሪካ ዶላር የመገበያያ ዋጋ 132.96 ብር ሆኖ ተመዝግቦ ነበር። በዚያ ጨረታ ላይ ባንኩ 60 ሚሊዮን የአሜሪካ ዶላር ያቀረበ ሲሆን፣ በጠቅላላው 16 የንግድ ባንኮች የጠየቁትን የውጭ ምንዛሪ ድልድል ማግኘት ችለው እንደነበር ይታወቃል።

NBE Foreign Exchange Auction: Weighted Average Rate at 133.1715 Birr per USD

The National Bank of Ethiopia (NBE) today announced the results of its latest Foreign Exchange Auction.

According to the NBE's official announcement, the weighted average rate of all successful bids in the auction was Birr 133.1715 per US Dollar showing inclement from last auction result of Birr 132.9643 per US Dollar.

The auction saw a total of 14 banks participate, submitting demands for foreign exchange allocations.

The National Bank of Ethiopia also indicated its schedule for future foreign exchange auctions. The next Foreign Exchange Auction is planned to be held in two weeks.

ውሳኔው የኢትዮጵያን የፋይናንስ ኢንዱስትሪ ለማዘመን እየተደረገ ካለው ሰፊ ጥረት አንዱ አካል ነው ተብሏል።

ይህ የተገለጸው 51ኛው የአፍሪካ ኢንሹራንስ ተቋም ዓመታዊ ኮንፈረንስ እና አጠቃላይ ስብሰባ በአዲስ አበባ በተጀመረበት ወቅት ነው።
