Bachelor's or Masters in Literature, Journalism and related fields in social sciences with demonstrated experience in content editing and writing as well as the publication of knowledge products of similar nature & experience research and editorial work related with International Organization
Competence:-
- Comprehensive and documented knowledge of issues related to the issue of Peace and Education in Africa
- Abreast with latest development in the field of child protection
- Familiarity with child protection in emergencies would be beneficial, including advocacy programming at local, national, regional and Pan Africa levels
- Strong communication skills - both oral and written English and French
- Full command of Microsoft applications, particularly Excel, and other relevant software

Advanced university degree (Master’s or equivalent degree, or higher) in Communication, Media, Social Science subject, any other related discipline with experience in developing compelling content to generate response from target audiences and prepare timely quality report discussing qualitative and quantitative outputs
Competence:-
- Excellent analytical, written and verbal communications skills in both English, Amharic & Oromiffa
- Ability to deliver on tight schedules without compromising quality
- Evidence of creativity, thinking “outside the box,” and innovation
- Familiarity with GAIN works such as nutrition, sustainable food systems
- Practical knowledge on the functioning of traditional/Local food markets in Addis Ababa

A Master’s Degree in Peace and Security, Development Studies, Project Management or a related social science field with hands-on experience in the project evaluation field
Competence:-
- Familiarity with peace, security and development projects
- Familiarity with (Higher) Education projects
-Excellent analytical capacities; excellent ability to synthesize information and relate action to results. Familiarity with contemporary data analysis software such as Atlas Ti, NVivo, SPSS, STATA etc
- Ability to multi-task and produce quality outputs with minimal supervision and on short deadlines
- Excellent communication, presentation, team-work and cooperation skills; ability to listen and express opinions sensitively; high work ethics
- Very good command of English language, both oral and written, including report-writing skills
- Previous similar work experience with Policy Thinks Tanks and/or governmental programs concerning related field is an advantage
- Highest professional standards of work including good cooperation with IPSS; time-management skills demonstrated; Integrity and commitment to the task; & exceptional communication skills
