Master’s Degree in Public Health, Social Science & related field or its international equivalent in organizational development experience in progressively increasing responsibility in design and managing complex capacity (organizational and technical) and institution strengthening programs in developing countries involving multiple stakeholders
Competence:-
- Understanding of the status and challenges facing CSOs and civil society in Ethiopia
- Proven ability to provide flexible and high-quality capacity strengthening support to project partners, stakeholders, and staff.
- Excellent communication and facilitation skills.
- Strong understanding and previous experience working with, advising and providing capacity strengthening to the Government of Ethiopia and Ethiopian non-governmental organizations/civil society organizations (NGOs/CSOs) and private sector organizations
- Demonstrated knowledge of capacity strengthening methodologies at the system, organization, and individual level
- Professional training and experience with adult learning methods, training or facilitation, organizational capacity assessments, mapping and planning
- Strong understanding and expertise in SBC

Master’s Degree with experience in implementing and managing international health/development, demand generation, marketing, social and behavior change programs and projects in developing countries, with experience working in Ethiopia
Competence:-
- Strong understanding of current state of health priorities within Ethiopia with knowledge of state of the art social and behavior change models and strategies and their practical application
- Knowledge of evidence-based, innovative, and practical solutions to communication challenges in developing countries
- Understanding of widely accepted formative research, pretesting, and monitoring and evaluation methodologies for effective SBC interventions
- Demonstrated strong technical, programming, and management skills
- Proven ability to work as an effective team member
- Excellent oral/written communication skills in English and one or more local languages
- Demonstrated interpersonal and negotiation skills, and experience working in collaboration with the private sector, government, partners, donors, and NGOs
- Ability to set priorities while multi-tasking, and meet deadlines
- Language requirements; English and one or more local languages
