A post-graduate degree, preferably PhD, in relevant social sciences fields including international development, management, sociology, social work or in the thematic areas of education, public health, human rights and child development with experience especially on participatory evaluations or reviews of complex child rights and gender equality focused programs for likeminded organizations in the industry
Competence:-
- Knowledge of Canadian humanitarian aid and charity sector as well as donors’ environments desirably Global Affairs Canada, European Union, UN Agencies and private foundations
- Excellent spoken and written communication skills in Amharic, Oromiffa and English Languages
- Evidence of similar work in the recent past will be a key requirement
- Ability to collect and analyze data using online applications and computer assisted interviews
- Ability to collect geo-location data
