Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Network Engineering or in a related field of study
Duties and Responsibilities:
- Designing and planning network infrastructure to meet organizational needs, including selecting appropriate hardware, software, and protocols for scalability and performance. Setting up routers, switches, firewalls, and other network devices to establish connectivity
- Installing, configuring, and maintaining network hardware and software. Performing regular network maintenance, updates, and upgrades to ensure optimal performance and security
- Monitoring network performance, availability, and reliability. Identifying areas for improvement and fine-tuning network settings to optimize data flow and quality of service (QoS)
