Bachelorβs Degree in Accounting, Finance, Cost Management or in a related field of study with relevant work experience (CMA/CPA preferred).
Duties & Responsibilities:
- Prepare detailed cost breakdowns for manufactured and imported furniture (materials, labor, overhead, freight, etc.).
- Develop and maintain standard costing models for various product lines.
- Analyze actual vs. standard costs and investigate variances.
- Collaborate with Design & Production teams to identify cost-saving opportunities (material usage, labor efficiency, etc.).
- Implement waste reduction strategies (e.g., optimizing cutting plans, reducing scrap, improving workflows).
- Conduct value engineering to suggest design modifications for cost efficiency.
