Monitoring & Evaluation Officer-Peace Building Fund (Addis Ababa)

The United Nations Development Programme (UNDP) is seeking to hire PBF-Monitoring & Evaluation Officer, who will be responsible for the overall coordination of M&E and related activities of Inclusive Governance and Conflict Management Support for Ethiopia project (PBF) and responsible for providing timely reports and updates for the Project Steering and Technical Committee to help them pass decisions based on relevant information and reports and to effectively carry out their management functions. Qualification and experience: Advanced university degree (Master’s Degree or equivalent) in Conflict Prevention and Peacebuilding, Data Management, International Development, Political Science, Sociology, International Relations, Law, Public Administration, Refugee Studies or related Social Sciences;

Job description: The Project Coordinator is responsible for:

At least 8 years for MSc and 10 years for BSc of work experience with communities at field level and experience preferable with projects targeted livelihoods diversification and improvement and overall rural development In addition, minimum of four years’ experience as Project Manager/Coordinator/Facilitator or relevant responsibility is necessary. Additional experience on project or related managerial or coordination practices; team leadership; supervision; resources management such as time, human, logistics and finance could be advantageous. Know how about human resources management, reporting ability; and ability to act as a communicator or liaison person for the project visibility.
NGO experience is an advantage. In addition, good experience in participatory approach with full commitment to implement the project in bottom up approach in pressurized conditions is also commendable.
Additional requirements:

Good oral and written communication in English, Amharic and Afan Oromo languages and interpersonal skill,

Process International/Domestic travel claims.
