A psalter versified 460 years ago in the fires of persecution, and still used by some churches in Zeeland—including the one where my wife grew up.

Twist met myn twisters is a wonderful translation of “Persecute them which persecute me”, is it not?

Christians in Cornwall Are Saying No to ‘On the Way’ Ross from Cornwall blows the whistle on CofE ‘On the Way’ plans to water down Christianity and destroy the county’s ancient churches. www.ukcolumn.org/video/christians-in-cornwall-are-saying-no-to-on-the…
Prior content on the same subject, from 2023.

As the new article (linked from the above video) points out, some dioceses now have almost as many non-clerical staff as parish clergy.

The diocesan staff—many of whom are lawyers and persuaders—are loyal only to the bishop and are paid from the diocese, which is a separate charity at law with its own ringfenced funds, unaffected by collapses in parish attendance and giving.

For all that the Church of England and Church of Scotland are part of the Establishment, each of their parishes is a legal entity whose existence, building, programme and spending is determined by the congregation’s council, if only it has the gumption to act.

Any subscribers who use GMX e-mail, which is based in the German-speaking countries?

My Bible translator is having headaches with e-mails being deleted by the GMX server after a month, with no readily apparent way to resolve this through the settings. Grateful for any steer.

“Actually, the UK is increasing its role as Europe transforms into a militarised federation.

Although it pulled out of the EU’s trade and legal structure in 2020 (after a referendum in 2016), it never left the European Union's military wing.

The establishment media did not report this; we know about it largely due to the work of UK Column.”

A while ago I found an interesting theory that Henry VIII's primary motivation was to prevent the Habsburgs taking over England via marriage and Vatican influence. It makes much more sense than the accepted narrative of Hentry being hopelessly randy and megalomaniacal. https://x.com/rawbloodenjoyer/status/1784325203855655183
