On 8/18/23, a federal appeals court struck down the use of so-called “split sentences” in Jan. 6 cases—imposing both prison and probation for petty-offense misdemeanors such as the often-used charge of “parading, demonstrating, or picketing in a Capitol building”, in violation of 40 U.S.C. § 5104(e)(2)(G).

I'm told this apparently doesn't apply to "Entering and Remaining in a Restricted Building or Grounds", in violation of 18 U.S.C. § 1752(a)(1) which I pleaded guilty to on 12/20/22 - because it's not technically legally considered a "petty" offense.

Not sure who decides what is petty, or how.

I went on Freedom Friday when I was on the road back to my parent's house from FCI Bastrop Prison.

"There are three times when police gave instructions to the group and myself when I entered. The voice saying 'They're Guests' and the man saying 'Bring 'em in, Bring 'em in' have been matched as the same person, whom everyone there including police recognized as a high ranking capitol police officer. Also the capitol police officer checking for weapons who lays his hand on my shoulder and tells me 'Go in, go out' is all heard audibly on this video. This video has been public for 2 1/2 years on YouTube and is public information entered as evidence against me"

Video evidence shows he spent a total of 38 SECONDS inside the Capitol.
