🚀Last night's dev dialogue session was truly extraordinary!

In line with our prior announcement, we had the honor of hosting Mebatsion Sahle⚡️, a remarkable woman in the tech industry whose expertise surpassed our expectations. 🚚We happed upon here tech journey, filled with lots of incredible achievements, experiences and people's. Prior to joining a university, she had some experience in programming and had lots of engagement in clubs as she told us.

Meba briefly addressed the issue of bureaucracy that women often encounter in the tech industry. She encouraged us to leverage it as motivation, turning obstacles into opportunities to prove ourselves.👩‍💻🔥 Meba shared her personal experience of being underestimated and doubted, emphasizing how she triumphed over such challenges.

What made the evening particularly special was the presence of Meba's colleagues, Chapi, Duguma, and Ahmed🤩. Chapi played a pivotal role in highlighting Meba's exceptional achievements from the very beginning. Ahmed and Duguma served as living witnesses to her undeniable potential🙏, creating an atmosphere reminiscent of a heartwarming family reunion🌟.

Introducing Yeabsira Mekonnen - GDSC AASTU 2023/24 Communication Officer

We’re excited to spotlight Yeabsira Mekonnen. As a Communication Officer, Yeabsira brought an incredible blend of energy, confidence, and charm that made her a key figure in our club’s success. Known for her friendly and funny demeanor, Yeabsira was always ready to engage with anyone, making her not just a leader but also a source of entertainment and positivity during our events.

On stage, Yeabsira was nothing short of a superstar. Her vibrant personality and lively spirit turned every event into a memorable experience. Whether she was leading an event or interacting with the crowd, Yeabsira’s infectious enthusiasm always shined through.

One of her key contributions was hosting our Dev Dialogue sessions. Partnering with Mikias Goitom, Yeabsira excelled at engaging industry professionals, making them feel at ease and eager to share their knowledge. Her talent for fostering open dialogue and promoting active learning made these sessions a highlight for everyone involved.

Yeabsira has gathered a wealth of experience across various positions. As a Frontend Developer at Kuraztech and a UI/UX Designer at Efuye Gela Intern, she contributes to innovative projects and creates user-friendly interfaces. She also manages and grows social media presence with creativity and strategic thinking as a Social Media Assistant Manager at Jebid Production. Yeabsira brings dynamic energy to event planning and execution as an Event Organizer at CGI AASTU. Additionally, she inspired young minds as a Coding Instructor at Yenetta Code.

Reflecting on her journey with GDSC AASTU , Yeabsira shared:
