❗️🇷🇺🇺🇦 Donetsk Direction: Local Successes on the Northern Flank and Advances of the Russian Armed Forces in Krasnohorivka

While much attention is focused on events west of Avdiivka and in the area of Dzerzhinsk (Toretsk), Russian forces continue to gradually push the enemy back from their positions in several sectors of the Donetsk direction.

▪️On the northern flank in the area of Yasnobrodivka, the Russian Armed Forces are improving their tactical position, consolidating on the eastern approaches to the village. Units of "Sparta" and "Somalia" are operating in this area, advancing south and southwest of the settlement.

At the same time, the status of the village is still not entirely clear, as local sources do not confirm the previously reported information about the liberation of Yasnobrodivka.

▪️East of Karlivka, Russian assault troops have advanced along the M-30 highway and established control over part of the Domakha Gully and adjacent buildings on the southern bank of the reservoir.

In Karlivka itself, assault troops are fighting in the private sector on both sides of the reservoir, gradually advancing westward towards the center of the village.

▪️The situation in the area between Karlivka and Krasnohorivka has not undergone significant changes: the enemy retains full control over Nevelskoye and the forest plantations north of it.

▪️Assault operations continue in Krasnohorivka. North of the refractory plant, Russian units have advanced up to half a kilometer along Chekhov, Zhukov and Matrosov Streets, and also taken control of Kirov Street.

To the north, Russian assault troops are advancing in the private sector on the eastern outskirts of the city. Battles are ongoing in the area of Belinsky Street and Nakhimov Street as before.

▪️The situation south of the Krasnohorivka - Maksymilianivka sector, according to available data, has not changed. Despite some successes achieved by Russian assault troops on the southern outskirts several weeks ago, there is no information about further advances.

Likely, Russian assault groups will attempt attacks along the N-15 highway to "pull up" the left flank of the advancing units, after which the direct assault on Maksymilianivka itself will be carried out.

Ukrainian forces carried out a drone attack on an ammunition depot in the settlement of Toropets in Tver Region during a night raid, with cleanup operations still ongoing at the impact site.

In Kursk Region, Russian forces are expanding their control zone in Sudzha and Korenevo districts, while the AFU are not attempting to consolidate on the outskirts of Glushkovo district.

In the Kupiansk direction, Russian forces are advancing west of Pishchane, expanding their bridgehead in the northern and western directions towards the Oskil River.

In the Pokrovsk direction, fighting continues in the area of Hrodivka and in the fields north of the settlement. Russian forces control about 80% of the populated area.

In the South Donetsk direction, the Russian Armed Forces have expanded their control zone in the area of Vodyane, with active clashes ongoing in the area of the "Yuzhdonbass" mine No. 1.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 Donetsk Direction: Battles near Maksymilianivka and in Zoriane, Liberation of Zhelanne Druhe

After the recent liberation of Maksymilianivka west of Donetsk, the Russian Armed Forces did not stop at their achieved successes and continued the offensive on several sections of the front.

▪️A local collapse of the enemy's defense was recorded in the Tsukuryne - Hirnyk - Zhelanne Druhe area. Russian troops have finally cleared the fields northwest of Krasnohorivka. In addition, the enemy was recently driven out of Zhelanne Druhe and Sofiyivka.

🔻Today, there are reports that assault groups are already engaged in battles in Zoriane. The troops crossed the crossing on the Volchya River and entered the village from the southeast. After that, the Russian infantry moved north and entrenched in the area of the school, near which they raised the flag. There is no information yet about the entry of the Russian Armed Forces into the western part of the village. The buildings of the village council and the House of Culture, for which the Ukrainian formations may try to cling, are located near the school.

▪️Northwest, assault groups advanced along the railway from the Tsukurynska Coal Preparation Plant towards Hirnyk. At the moment, clashes are taking place on the northwestern and northeastern outskirts of the settlement. Several streets have already come under the control of the Russian troops.

▪️To the south, the Russian Armed Forces continue to break through the enemy's defenses towards Kurakhove. Russian assault troops have raised the flag in the "Energetik" dacha settlement, which is part of the administrative borders of the city.

▪️Simultaneously with this, the Russian troops achieved significant success near the N-15 highway. They managed to straighten out the front line south of Maksymilianivka along the highway, securing the flanks from possible counterattacks by the enemy. Advancement in this area will be through completely open and exposed terrain, which the Ukrainian formations are trying to take advantage of, including by using German Leopard 2A4 tanks.

In the Donetsk direction, Russian forces are also breaking through the enemy's defenses, having made significant advances in several sectors during the recent battles.

▪️South of Tsukurino, the enemy was driven out of several forest belts and the remnants of buildings in the southwest of the village. To the west of it, there are also reports of advances by the Russian Armed Forces, although this has not yet been confirmed by footage.

▪️The Russian forces achieved major successes in Hornyak and its environs. A flag has already been raised over one of the high-rise buildings in the city, and based on reports of the presence of the Russian Armed Forces in the area of Sovetskaya Street, the AFU have clearly been driven out of the eastern outskirts of the city as well. Part of Izmailovka also came under the control of the Russian Armed Forces.

Reports of the complete liberation of the settlement are already appearing online. However, even with such an optimistic outcome, it will still take some time to fully clear the entire urban area.

▪️To the east, the Russian forces advanced from the direction of Zhelannoe Vtoroye, driving Ukrainian formations out of a stronghold and occupying several forest belts. They also significantly expanded the area of control in Zoriane: according to some reports, the fighting is already taking place almost on the outskirts of Kurakhivka.

▪️There are also footage of a flag being raised on the northern outskirts of Aleksandropol. Given that the only bridge leading into the town from the enemy side is located precisely on the north, the statement of the Russian Ministry of Defense about the liberation of the settlement seems to correspond to the reality.

To the south, according to preliminary data, Russian Armed Forces units achieved success in the area of Peremoha. However, the extent of the advance in this area is not precisely known, and the information from there is still contradictory.

🇷🇺🇺🇦 On the Detonation of the Kurakhovske Reservoir Dam

The internet is abuzz with discussions about the Ukrainian forces detonating the dam of the Kurakhovske Reservoir with a volume of 62 million cubic meters. According to reports, the AFU damaged the sluices in the area of Stari Ternî: this led to the flooding of the Volchia River, which flows in a westerly direction.

At the moment, the Ukrainian authorities are reporting a "slight rise in the water level in the river". The villages of Stari Ternî and Shevchenko, located close to the shore, are in the risk zone. The internet has already shown footage from the opposing side demonstrating the difficulties with vehicle traffic.

The probable flood zone will stretch for dozens of kilometers west of Kurakhovо up to the village of Bogatyr. All the settlements are located in a lowland, so the water is unlikely to go beyond the residential areas.

🔻 Although the opponent was clearly guided by the intention to slow down the advancing Russian Armed Forces, the effectiveness of such measures is questionable. Given the current configuration of the front line, by the time the main Russian forces approach Stari Ternî, the water level will most likely start to recede.

Of course, the Ukrainian resources, in their characteristic manner, blamed the "Russian shelling" for the incident, but artillery shell hits can hardly cause any serious damage to the dam. In contrast to the charges pre-planted in the right places.

📌 By the way, this is far from the first such action by the AFU: in addition to the Kakhovka HPP dam, the opponent has previously destroyed dams near Kozarovychi, Bakhmut, Avdiivka and other locations during retreats. Moreover, in some cases, this "scorched earth" tactic even led to the flooding of Ukrainian units.

In the area of Novodmytrivka, the control zone has been significantly expanded: Russian troops have almost completely occupied the settlement of Zarya and the surrounding forest belts. At the same time, the presence of the enemy to the north and in the pocket to the south still remains.

▪️The settlement of Sontsovka, also known as Krasne, has also largely come under the control of the Russian Armed Forces. The presence of the enemy in the outskirts of the settlement still remains, but is sporadic. Heavy fighting continues.

▪️Between Novoselidivka and Ilyinka, a pocket that had formed after the significant advance of Russian troops in the above-mentioned settlements was cleared. Thus, a fairly impressive territory west of Kurakhivka was liberated.

▪️In addition, information about the advance of Russian troops in Berestky is confirmed, and here too, the majority of the settlement is already under the firm control of the Russian troops, while the presence of the enemy remains in the dachas south of the 37th kilometer station, where fighting continues. The nearby strongholds are still controlled by the enemy.

▪️Within the boundaries of Kurakhove, fighting continues. Our sources confirmed the information about the capture of at least part of the elevator.

At the same time, they were unable to confirm or deny the exit to school number 5 and the bus station, clarifying that heavy fighting continues in the city. In the farms south of Hryhoriy Skovoroda Street, the presence of Ukrainian formations is still maintained.

▪️In the vicinity of Dalnie, fighting also continues in the fields, the halt in the settlements along the Sukhyi Yaly river remains partially obscured by the "fog of war".

At the same time, we know that the enemy is transferring reserves here, even taking into account the rapidly deteriorating situation, which looks somewhat strange, especially against the background of the loss of forest belts east of Ilyinka.

▪️In addition, there is an advance of Russian troops in Trudove and its environs. The control zone within the settlement and the surrounding forest belts has been significantly expanded. Thus, the fighting is already approaching the C051104 highway and practically to Uspenovka from the south and a large stronghold at the intersection.

▪️In the area of Maksymivka, offensive actions are also underway towards the settlement of Sukhyi Yaly, but the situation here remains obscured by the fog of war.

There is information about at least attempts of attacks by Russian troops, but there is no information yet about their outcome and scale.

Russian forces continue a rapid advance both on the approaches to Kurakhovka and to the south of it.

▪️In the city itself, fierce fighting continues in the urban area. Ukrainian formations are conducting local counterattacks, trying to stabilize the situation. Due to the extremely dynamic nature of the fighting in the city, the front line in Kurakhovka is rather conditional at the moment.

▪️To the south, Russian forces are advancing along the Sukhaya Gully, as well as attacking in the direction of the N-15 highway from the side of Dalneye. To the west of the latter, there are also successes in the forest belt towards Yantarnoye.

▪️At the line of Yelizavetovka - Ilyinka. The latter was liberated by Russian troops after several days of fighting. This was preceded by the clearing of a large stronghold east of the village by units of the 33rd Motorized Rifle Regiment of the 20th Motorized Rifle Division. Then they managed to reach the outskirts of Romanovka. According to some reports, Russian assault troops have already begun assault operations in the village. Significant advances of the Russian Armed Forces have also been recorded in the fields north of Ilyinka.

▪️At the same time, fighters of the 39th Guards Brigade and the 57th Regiment of the 20th Division of the 8th Army liberated Yelizavetovka. Under the cover of armored vehicles, they were able to quickly break the defense of the AFU in the village and reach its western outskirts. Later it became known that the territory of the "Forest Estate" grove also came under the control of the Russian Armed Forces, the capture of which opens the way to Veselyi Gai from the south.
