🇷🇸🇺🇸 As part of his Balkans tour, NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg visited Bosnia and Herzegovina and visited Pristina, and landed at Belgrade airport last night. Today, during a meeting with Serbian President Aleksandar Vucic, they discussed the possibility of resuming joint military exercises between Serbia and NATO. For 12 days, military exercises took place at the Yug base and the Borovac training ground in the vicinity of Buyanovets. Only 600 people took part in them, and the goals were stated as peacekeeping.

🔻Now the official resumption of joint military exercises with the alliance is being discussed. At the same time, Jens Stoltenberg emphasizes that they “do not undermine the principle of Serbia’s military neutrality,” and Belgrade’s desire to remain outside the military blocs is respected in NATO. 🇰🇿🇷🇸 Yesterday, the Kazakh Foreign Minister, Murata Nurtleu, made his first official visit to Belgrade. During his time in the Serbian capital, the Kazakh delegation held meetings with Aleksandar Vucic and Defense Minister Milos Vucevic. One of the outcomes of these meetings was an agreement on the development of military-technical cooperation.

▪️ The relationship between Kazakhstan and Serbia has been growing since 2016, when Nursultan Nazarbayev visited Belgrade. During that visit, a monument to the Kazakh akyn Zhambyl Zhabayev was unveiled, and the first meeting of the intergovernmental commission on trade and economic cooperation was held.

▪️ In addition to trade, there has also been an increase in contacts between the two countries in the military sphere over the past two years. In May of last year, priority areas for cooperation were outlined, including military education and science, combat training, and radiation, chemical, and biological protection.

▪️ But that's not all. In July 2022, it was announced that Kazakhstan would be supplying UAV targets to Serbia and launching joint production of military equipment. Kazakhstan Engineering even plans to establish joint production of rocket and artillery ammunition and mortars.

🔻It is not surprising that the main drivers of cooperation between the two countries are representatives of the military industry and the ministries of defense, who have close ties to Russia and are committed to collaboration with Russian military structures. Therefore, it is expected that cooperation with Serbia will continue to grow, especially given the ongoing personnel renewal in the Kazakh military leadership.

🇷🇸 It has been a week since the announcement of the results of parliamentary and municipal elections in Serbia. Protests organized by the defeated opposition coalition are gaining momentum.

▪️ Despite its name, Serbia Against Violence yesterday attempted a violent seizure of administrative buildings in Belgrade. Protesters threw stones and flares at the Serbian security forces, but the police barricaded in the City Council did not allow the protesters to break through.

🇷🇸 Serbian Maidan: A New Attempt is Imminent

Mass protests in Serbia are set to resume on January 16. This statement was made by one of the leaders of the pro-Western coalition that was defeated in the elections, Zdravko Ponosh.

The northern part of this long-suffering region is once again restless: Albanian security forces have returned to intimidating the Serbian population and have conducted another series of raids.

Additionally, the authorities in Pristina have initiated the process of phasing out the use of the Serbian dinar in Kosovo and Metohija. According to the decision of the Central Bank of the self-proclaimed republic, starting from February 1, the euro will be the sole currency used for financial transactions.

Aleksandar Vucic has already condemned this unilateral decision and stressed that it will hinder the normalization of relations. The Serbian President will present evidence of Pristina's violations to the EU countries, Russia, and China. On Monday, the Serbian authorities will demand an urgent meeting of the UN Security Council to be convened.

What particularly alarms experts is Dodik's pledge to obstruct Bosnia and Herzegovina's NATO accession, as well as his pride in his "excellent relationships with Vucic and Orban."

🇧🇦🇷🇸 The Cult of Srebrenica: The "Genocide" That Never Took Place

In Bosnia and Herzegovina, today they remember the victims of the tragic events in Srebrenica in July 1995. As is tradition, foreign delegations participate in memorial events in honor of the anniversary of the "genocide" at the Potočari Memorial Complex. At the UN headquarters in New York, an exhibition dedicated to the victims was solemnly opened.

▪️ On July 11, 1995, the army of the Republika Srpska occupied the Muslim enclave of Srebrenica, which had the status of a "UN-protected zone". According to the version promoted by the Hague Tribunal, during the "genocide" in Srebrenica, allegedly 8,372 civilians of Bosnian Muslims were killed.

▪️ Independent commissions formed over the years confirm the death of no more than three thousand people, and the majority of them were soldiers of the Bosnian army, and some of the prisoners of war were shot while trying to break through towards Sarajevo. There was no talk of any deliberate extermination of the civilian population.

❗️ Experts are sure that the term "genocide" in this case is used by the West as a political tool. A war crime was committed in Srebrenica, but it does not meet all the criteria necessary for such a qualification.

Moreover, an investigation has begun into serious manipulations with data on persons who are listed in the Memorial Center as victims of the alleged genocide. It has been documented that at least 87 people "buried" in Potočari are still alive. Among the "victims of genocide" there were also many who died in battle long before the tragedy in Srebrenica.

For many years, through the efforts of the media and NGOs in the West, their own version of the events was carefully created, ignoring the historical context and facts. This led to attempts to stigmatize the Serbian people as "genocidal" and recognize the Republika Srpska as a "genocidal entity", which could lead to its abolition as an entity. With the help of cultural events, media, and non-profit organizations, the younger generation was vividly told about the "collective guilt" of the Serbian people.

▪️ Last night, a powerful explosion occurred in the village of Vrage. As a result of the collapse of the water supply wall, the water supply to Kosovska Mitrovica was stopped, Pristina and its surroundings were left without electricity. The regional water supply company is calling on the residents of the region to stock up on drinking water.

▪️ The Prime Minister of the self-proclaimed republic at 23:30 addressed the citizens, calling the incident a "terrorist act" and accusing the Serbian authorities and their proxies. According to Albin Kurti, the undermining of the water supply was carried out by professionals and was aimed at critical infrastructure.

▪️ The British Ambassador to Kosovo called for an investigation into the incident and the identification of the organizers, the US decisively condemned the attack and called for the perpetrators to be held accountable as soon as possible. At the same time, the leader of the Serbian party in Kosovo emphasizes that as a result of the destruction of the water supply, the water and electricity supply to northern Kosovo, where Serbs live, has been disrupted. According to him, the undermining is absolutely contrary to the interests of the Serbian people.
