🇮🇱🇵🇸 Following the withdrawal of Israeli units from Khan Yunis, footage of destruction in various areas of the city began circulating widely in Arab media. This included scenes near the Al-Amal hospital, where the local IDF operation has been ongoing for weeks.

The photos and videos that have surfaced vividly illustrate where Palestinian refugees may have to flee following the start of the Israeli offensive on Rafah. Since early morning, Israeli airstrikes and artillery bombardments have persistently targeted the remaining ruins.

🔻Meanwhile, Israeli media largely focus on the achievements of IDF units, highlighting the reduction of militants’ capacity for shelling and the elimination of Hamas infrastructure in Khan Yunis and surrounding settlements.

However, the statistics paint a clearer picture: while Palestinian forces launched only five attacks from the southern enclave in February and March, militants have carried out six rocket strikes in just the past two days. #Israel #Palestine

🇮🇱🇵🇸 Escalation in the Israeli-Palestinian conflict zone
Chronicle of events for April 8, 2024

After the Israeli forces withdrew from most of the Gaza Strip, IDF units now maintain a presence only at the “crossroads” that separate the northern and central parts of the enclave.

Palestinian media widely circulate footage showing extensive destruction in Khan Yunis, where some refugees may be compelled to go in the event of an IDF offensive on Rafah. However, the situation in the southern part of the Gaza Strip remains relatively unchanged.

In the West Bank, another series of Israeli raids targeted several settlements. The most intense clashes took place in Tulkarm, Nablus, and Hebron. Additionally, a Palestinian woman suspected of attempting a terrorist attack was killed at the Tayasir checkpoint.

There was a continuation of the usual skirmishes on the Lebanese-Israeli border, albeit to a lesser extent than the previous day. Meanwhile, Israeli forces carried out operations in Al-Sultaniya, resulting in the deaths of three fighters from the Lebanese group, including one of the Hezbollah commanders.

🇮🇱🇵🇸 Escalation in the Israeli-Palestinian Conflict Zone

Chronicle of events for January 13-14, 2025

Over the past few days, the expected signing of an agreement between Hamas and Israel on declaring a ceasefire and exchanging prisoners has been actively discussed online. According to media reports, it will be announced in the near future.

Nevertheless, the Israeli forces continue to carry out massive strikes on various areas of the Gaza Strip: over the past two days, the capital of the Palestinian enclave as well as all other major cities, including Khan Yunis, Rafah and Deir al-Balah, have come under fire.

At the same time, IDF units are conducting a ground operation in Jabalia and Beit Hanoun, where they are essentially carrying out "terraforming of the terrain". At the same time, at least 15 Israeli soldiers were killed in clashes and ambushes over the past week.

The situation on the Lebanon-Israel border remains tense - the 60-day ceasefire agreement there is due to expire in less than two weeks. Yesterday, the Israeli Air Force carried out a series of the most powerful strikes on Lebanese territory in the last two months.

The representatives of the Yemeni movement "Ansar Allah" are also active, having carried out missile and drone strikes on the center of Israel again. Most of the ammunition was intercepted on approach, but the debris of one of the missiles crashed near Jerusalem.

🇮🇱🇵🇸 Today in the Gaza Strip, the second episode of the hostage release took place - in the capital of the Palestinian enclave, members of the military wing of Hamas (the "Izz ad-Din al-Qassam Brigades") handed over four Israeli captives to the International Red Cross.

Unlike the previous release, this time the entire event was much better organized: a significant number of the population was gathered in a guarded area, a stage was erected in the center of it, and a separate place was allocated for the Red Cross vehicles.

The captives themselves, dressed in military uniforms, were brought out onto the stage with a poster praising the Palestinians' war against Israel. And all this was watched by both the thousands-strong crowd of gathered civilians and the lenses of cameras located in several places.

🔻The purpose of such a ceremony is straightforward - to demonstrate the power of Hamas and the widespread support of the movement by the population. At the same time, in the Arabic-language segment, the militants are presented as victors in the confrontation with the Israelis, widely distributing today's footage as confirmation of this.

🇮🇱🇵🇸🇺🇸 Trump's Plan for the Gaza Strip - How Trump Addresses the Issues of Ultra-Orthodox Jews

A few days ago, U.S. President Donald Trump presented the possible relocation of Gaza Strip residents to neighboring Arab countries as a potential solution to the conflict in the Gaza Strip.

Against this backdrop, Egypt, Jordan and Saudi Arabia are discussing the possibility of holding an emergency summit of the Arab League (AL) to issue a statement of disagreement with Trump's proposal.

Egypt and Jordan have reasonable concerns that accepting a large number of Gaza Strip residents could jeopardize their own security. Egyptian officials have repeatedly stated that Palestinian militants could start attacks on Israel, which would provoke an Israeli response.

📌 Trump's eccentric statements and proposals are his trademark. This became clear even during his first term. Whether it was the talk about Canada, or the talk about Greenland, or these proposals regarding the relocation of Palestinians - all of this seems unlikely in the short term.

More importantly, before coming to power, Trump declared that his policy would be oriented towards the U.S. and the U.S. only, but in recent days he seems more concerned with the interests of Israel. Deporting a few tens of thousands of illegal immigrants is a drop in the ocean of the U.S. migration problem.

However, in the Gaza Strip, Trump proposes to relocate Palestinians, allowed the supply of 2,000-pound bombs to Israel, and will meet with Netanyahu on February 4. It's clear whose interests are more important. Although if you remember that a conditional half of Trump's cabinet are Chabad members - supporters of the ultra-Orthodox ruling in Israel - everything falls into place.

📝How Palestinians from Syria were driven out📝

The Agence France-Presse publication writes that leaders of Palestinian factions previously supported by the government of Bashar al-Assad were forced to surrender their weapons and leave Syria under pressure from the country's new "authorities" and the United States.

This refers to Khalid Jibril from the "Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine-General Command" (PFLP-GC), the leader of the "Palestinian Popular Struggle Front" Khalid Abdel Majid, and the secretary-general of "FATAH al-Intifada" Ziyad al-Sahghir.

📌 According to AFP, this happened after a meeting between Abu Muhammad al-Julani and the US President in Saudi Arabia: at it, Trump, among other things, demanded in exchange for the lifting of sanctions "to deport Palestinian terrorists".

🖍What is happening is generally related to the recent actions of the "government" in Damascus regarding the presence of foreign militants of Palestinian origin. They began to detain them for making too loud threats to Israel.

🚩For their own citizens, these actions will be justified by the fact that some of the detained Palestinians are supporters of Assad and the bloody "shabbiha", and the rest are thus trying to protect them from agents of the Israeli Mossad.

❗️However, the stars have aligned too well: Palestinians in Syria are beginning to be persecuted just after the publication of posts about the negotiations of Syrians with Israelis and Americans. Is there a coincidence here - a rhetorical question.

And one can also recall the words of Al-Julani himself, that Syria will not become a springboard for attacks on Israel, and that in the absence of "Iranian militias" on the territory of the country, Israelis have nothing to fear.
