πŸ‡·πŸ‡Έ What is happening in Kosovo and Metohija? Situation on October 23, 2023
A month has passed since the tragic events in the town of Banska near Kosovska Mitrovica. The situation in the region remains tense, and the authorities of the self-proclaimed Republic of Kosovo continue to terrorize the Serbian population, with the approval of their Western partners.
Kosovo Albanians are attempting to establish a continuous "police" base in the northern part of the region. They have implemented a "blockade", which has led to a severe humanitarian crisis in Serbian-populated municipalities.
The Western partners are supporting the actions of the Pristina authorities and exerting pressure on Belgrade. Furthermore, the NATO contingent in Kosovo and Metohija has significantly increased, and NATO aviation flights have become more frequent in the region in recent days.

πŸ‡·πŸ‡ΈπŸ‡ΊπŸ‡Έ "The US and the EU want my head": Why is the head of Serbian intelligence resigning?
The head of the Serbian Information and Security Agency has submitted his resignation. According to Alexander Vulin himself, he is resigning under pressure from the West to avoid sanctions being imposed on Serbia.
Vulin has been the director of the BIA since November 2022, and prior to that, he headed the Ministry of Internal Affairs. An experienced security officer and a true patriot of his country, he is known for his unwavering stance against Serbia's entry into NATO and his significant contribution to the development of Russian-Serbian relations.

Vulin has never been popular in the West, but recently, there have been increasing hints about the need for his removal. In the summer, he was included in the US sanctions list "for participating in corruption schemes." However, the Serbian leadership emphasized that this was purely a political decision and stated that they demanded the introduction of sanctions against Russia in exchange for Vulin's immunity. Additionally, Serbian oppositionists who were coordinating mass protests also called for his resignation. One of the main demands during the demonstrations under the slogan "Serbia against violence" was the removal of the head of the BIA.
The identity of the BIA director also troubled Russian relocants, who initiated active protest activities in Serbia with the financing of Western funds. Participants of the "Russian Democratic Society" accused Alexander Vulin of collaborating with the "bloody Russian regime" and even claimed that he had introduced four thousand Russian agents into Serbian territory.

The accusations are amusing, but the situation itself is very alarming. Based on Mr. Vulin's statement, Serbia's Western "partners" have forcefully raised the issue once again, resorting to their familiar method of blackmail. According to sources from the Balkan gossip @balkanossiper, his position may be taken by the Serbian Ambassador to Washington, Marko Djuric, who, unlike Mr. Vulin, does not have any particular affinity for Russia.
