So really, it's less about hiding your identity. Monero isn't about being sneaky, avoiding taxes, or being a hacker or criminal. I am a squeaky clean guy. I don't do drugs, or hacking, or criminal activity. But I need Monero. Because otherwise, somebody who DOES do those things will ruin my reputation for something I've never done (like the tshirt example). Monero isn't for criminals. It's for everyone.

The liberals are giddy with excitement at the thought of a second wave, a "safe" cashless environment and more riots and protests.

That’s because these people adore being told what to do. They have been programmed for centuries to see the government as commanding, powerful and in control – ironically, not traits associated with being caring, generous and helpful. Although Canadians love to think Captain Sparklesocks is a unicorn of a prime murderer.

You see, when you are told what to do and you have no choice, it removes any responsibility of thinking for yourself, or, heaven forbid, making your own decisions! It makes life so easy. Especially if they can convince you that it’s "for the greater good" and "you’re saving lives".

Anyway, for every one of these submissive sheeple I have good news…

You are now FORBIDDEN to mingle with anyone who is not in your party at any restaurant or bar in San Diego. Do. Not. Even. Make. Eye. Contact! Oh, and you’ll have to be outta there by 10pm, because that’s your adult curfew. Also, that’s when the ‘Rona gears up, looking for rebellious victims who aren’t in bed by sunset – kind of like a vampire.

And bad news…

The second wave could be delayed in cities like Denver where riots and protests are NOT super-spreading events, but actually slow down the overall spread of the Coronavirus. It’s genius! There’s more social distancing because people are staying in their houses to avoid being tear gassed and gunned down in the name of Black Lives Matter.

Riot and be free, or hide and be obedient.

Hey, it’s easy. No thinking required. Although what is obvious to me might not be the general consensus.

Keep in mind though, that while you’re staying at home, saving lives, you’re certainly not helping to save the economy.

Pizza Hut’s largest US franchisee and owner of over 1,200 locations, has filed for bankruptcy. NPC International, who also owns almost 400 Wendy’s locations, says "The filing was the last resort for NPC, which has been dealing with prolonged restaurant shutdowns due to the coronavirus, struggling business, a debt burden totaling nearly $1 billion, and the growing costs of food and labor."

Of course, allowing events like AnarchoVegas and Freedom Fest would help the economy, but bureaucracy is making it as difficult as possible for these guys, which is why we focused on doing it virtually for now.  

Lucy and I are a bit exhausted after the first TDV Online Summit. But not too tired to tell you to save all your $1 notes (not coins) if you ever want to tip the pizza guy again. Or too tired to give feedback from those who attended the summit live.
